>"The silver market is even more heavily leveraged with paper, meaning even further divorced from the real world. Veteran precious metals commentator, Steve St. Angelo has estimated the paper ratio in the silver futures market at 233:1."

https://dynamicwealthresearch.com/news/physical-silver-decoupling-from-paper-market#:~:text=The%20silver%20market%20is%20even,futures%20market%20at%20233%3A1.

Once the whole "meme stock" fiasco sobers up, commodity assets like Silver will look very promising.

>Commodities historically undervalued relative to dollars

>Silver used in electronics and EV batteries

>Silver:Gold price ratio historically pegged to 40, making Silver worth about $46.

A movement to purchase and safekeep silver would bring the price up back to its actual value and more. If everybody in the US bought a 10 ounce coin, you would see a global shift in attitudes towards silver and against relying solely on paper fiat and cryptos as a wealth preserver.

=====

Cryptocurrency market cap is around 1 trillion+ dollars.

Silver's market Cap is around 1.4 trillion dollars, and has much more utility to support manufacturing and wealth preservation.

for every 1% that a crypto holder diverts their savings into PHYSICAL silver, Silver would go up 0.7% alone.

I'm a "shareholder" of the funds, but can I actually exchange my shares for something physical? They don't pay out any profits on the stock. If the price is simply based on supply/demand, where's the link to actual metal?

Bayhorse is literally the greatest risk-reward investment opportunity of the 21st century. Imminent 1.3 million silver ounce/per producer with high-grade 21 oz/ton ore, cost per ounce as high as $10 and as low as $8. If we assume the worst, at $50 silver that's $52 million a year in cash flow and at a 30x cash flow valuation (common in miner bull markets) that means that Bayhorse can reach a 1.5 billion market cap at $50 silver, which is 100x higher than it is right now. It would go 1000x at $400 silver and 2000x at $800 silver. The CEO is a silver bull and friend of people like David Morgan and he has been waiting for this silver bull market for years, refusing to throw away cheap silver to the COMEX. People who have spoken to the CEO on the phone say that he might issue physical silver dividends and he has already done so in the form of the "silver option."

Not a scam, but likely no immediate growth. I think in the short term people will continue to chase medium/large cap miners as they have today in hopes of short term returns. But once those miners get too leveraged, some people will take profits and rotate into juniors.

Once they can prove they're producing at the rates promised, then confidence will be restored and the price should rise.
@Silver Miner Anon

What do you think the timeline for Nicola to start producing is? I have read the biggest downward pressure is that they have quite a bit of debt, but if you believe Silver will rise substantially they should be able to pay it off quickly, I assume.

Nicola is rather uncommunicative so I don't know much about their plans. Near-term they are going to process gold from the Dominion Creek high-grade gold property. But they are also doing a lot of exploration on the silver property. I do know that they have the permit for the silver mine, permit for the mill, so it is within their power to be a silver producer. The company used to be called Huldra Silver. I also feel that the CEO is trustworthy, from listening to interviews of him.

Redditors are bottom barrel retarded and now they are angry because they're confused. The silver play is much too complicated for them to understand. When it comes to guiding the emotions of a pissed off retard, you only get one chance to explain it to them and you have to explain it perfectly. Any deviation from the story they either A. Get confused and then give up because it takes too much effort for them to understand aka "it's too hard", or B, they become angry at YOU because they feel like you lied to them or tricked them.

This is what reddit is doing right now because they or dumb retards. Breaking the comex is incredibly important but they are much too stupid to understand. I'd say give it a break and come back, either that or hammer the point down hard right now that this is a good thing to do. It's hilarious going in that sub and seeing obvious paid shills shooting down the silver play. I can literally envision them in their fat Wallstreet bodies "yeah guys, we got tricked. No I'm saying that "silver" is an intermediary good or a monetary good. Silver that is in a machine or battery is not "silver" it is a component in a battery or machine. You can go ahead and include jewelry and silverware in your figures, but the idea that nearly 100% of silver mined should be treated as a component "silver" market cap is retarded.

people that don't understand how things work pushing GME like it's going somewhere. The damage is already done to citadel. Their short contracts expired on Friday. Time to pay. And they are - they're selling their securities. But Citadel owned and sold SLV, not real physical silver - and SLV is traded over 100:1 against physical silver. Meaning they sell 100 pieces of paper for every 1 ounce they have on hand. So Citadel sold their SLV position. SLV is driven by iShares, which is owned by JPM. JPM was in trouble last year for manipulating the PM market.
Now, when things go tits-up it follows the money upstream. Clearing houses like citadel pass the buck off to their investment banks. In this case the investment bank is JPM. The damage was already done to Citadel - they had to sell securities to cover their losses. Now we have to follow up with a right-hook to JPM. Nobody controls who holds the bomb, they're just trying to set it off.

Can we get #FollowTheBomb trending?

It's like including every car on earth as part of some arbitrary "used vehicle inventory" calculation. Family heirlooms, old numismatics and antiques aren't all going to magically enter the tradable above-ground stock, and what many don't realize or have any good way to calculate is how much of that theoretical jewelry and silverware already got refined in the bull runs and aftermath of 1980, 2011, and right now. I'd wager that the per-capita silver ownership has plummeted since 1980; sterling silverware and decorative objects have been out of style for decades and thus have been bleeding out of private hands for years.

925, 800, 999 is part of silver per 1000.
So 999 is 999 parts of silver in the particular alloy and 925 means 925 parts of silver in the particular alloy.
So if you have 1 oz of something marked 999 that means that it's 99.9% silver, which means you are buying, basically an oz of silver.

There are a couple of precedents which might give us an indication of how silver dividends would work. The silver option says: "The Company issued a total of 18,000,000 units at a price of $0.05 per unit for gross proceeds of $900,000. Each unit consists of one common share and one warrant with each warrant entitling the holder to acquire one common share at a price of $0.10 per share within two years from the date of issuance or each 200 warrants may be exercised by the holder into one ounce of silver at an exercise price of C$20.00 per ounce (the “Silver Option”)." This is only a one-time affair, but it indicates to us that the company is willing to give physical dividends and might do the same thing again in future.

We also have the example of Resolute Mining in gold. Perhaps BHS could do something similar for silver.

"Resolute Mining is offering eligible shareholders the opportunity to take their dividends in physical gold in what could be a first for an Australian miner. The initiative is part of the company’s adoption of a gold-linked dividend policy which commits Resolute to return 2 per cent of its annual gold sales to shareholders. The policy will take effect with a payout of $11.1 million via Resolute’s final dividend of 1.7¢ a share on October 20. Resolute shareholders with at least 5000 shares will be able to receive the dividend in gold through a personal account set up with the Perth Mint, where it can be stored or traded online."

Bayhorse probably has at least 14 million ounces of high-grade, that's large for the market cap and especially for a near-term producer. Saying that "they have a small amount of ore" (not even true) is utterly irrelevant if you don't show the market cap. >>27381113 They have $52 million a year in cash flow for 14 years at $50 silver and their mcap is only $15 million. "Also, I've gotten to know the Blue Lagoon Resources CEO over the past several weeks. He's a very serious person who works all the time and is highly driven to make Blue Lagoon a huge success. Not just driven for his own pride, he put a lot of friends & family into $BLLG. It's very important to him and his followers that this deal works out well. He thinks there's a good chance it will work out very well, not just well. I get the sense he can bring more cash (himself and through his network) to fund the Company if need be. That's a key consideration for any junior miner. To be clear, the Company doesn't currently need cash because they have over C$5M in the bank and zero debt. Drill results in about a month could be big."

So buying today you may lose a few bucks(depending on the price) but I wouldn't worry about it. Realistically I think that $25 is the new bottom per ounce now for silver.

I've been posting pretty much every hour of the day for the past few weeks. Have changed the posting style a little simply to get more attention. This time is absolutely critical for getting 4chan on board to buy physical silver. Have been working at this night and day for over a year now and I feel that the work is finally coming to fruition. My sole purpose in coming here a year ago was to try and get 4chan on board with buying silver. This is perhaps the most important period of time ever in killing the New World Order and the Great Reset. And no, I’m not that person.

This is a huge question.
I'm in the jewelry market.
That particular story was worth 4% of their supposed gold reserves but was used by their biggest jewelry manufacturer to secure loans at their firm (I forgot the names).
Nothing from this particular fake made it out to the US...BUT
It's kind of a secret but a lot of mass producers of PM jewelry in the US are producing this jewelry in China.
Kay Jewelers paid for it by losing the lawsuit for selling their sterling gold jewelry that was only plated with said metals. What no one is talking about, but a lot of people in the trade know is that a shit ton of these "designers" were screwed by China just like Kay Jewelers was.
Basically the QVC's HSN's and so on are producing tones of jewelry in China and a lot of it is fake.
Another thing is that there are a SHIT TON of PM bars and coins on the market right now that are fake. Hoe much? Nobody knows really. But every single company that mints their shit in China is suspect just like the jewelry producers.
The Chinks are so good that they can match the dimension to the weight of coins now using a fake alloy core. These can be only discovered by drilling and thus destroying some of the numismatic coins. It's a huge subject desu and it's bad but so far the gen pop doesn't know about it.

I don't see silver going below $30 an ounce once this pump stabilizes, the market would have to do extremely well to scare people away from buying/storing physical silver.

Any other asset class is looking at 30% downside risk or more.

Fundamentally it can climb to $50 an ounce or more with limited downside risk. Just don't put your whole life savings into silver and expect to dump on the banks and get rich, but if the average person just stores a few ounces it would change the entire marketplace.

I could easily give way to the temptation to swap my AG for more undervalued mining stocks or for ones with more leverage but I'm not going to do it. We have to stay in it this to keep up the short squeeze. This is like GME except for silver. For me, other mining stocks are for trading but AG is about principle. I have a feeling that we'll be rewarded if we stay in in any event. You only have to look at what happened to Volkswagon to sense that.

Silver will be at the very least allowed to go up because for a year now we were dealing with the shortages and the decoupling of the physical from paper is a norm now.
So the result of a short squeeze on paper silver like PSLV for example would be huge and would guarantee that silver goes and stays up.
On the other hand silver already soared above $40 in 2011 so I have no clue where you are getting your numbers from.

This is only a one-time affair, but it indicates to us that the company is willing to give physical dividends and might do the same thing again in future.
Can we really make that logical conclusion here? We're talking about a private placement no? Was this PP a public offering or not? If not, I don't think we can assume a silver dividend in the future. Physical delivery deals are sometimes made for institutional investor private placements / loans.

Investing in pmg is generally done in 3 ways.

1. Buy Silver at the Local Coin Shop(LCS) or online. Downside is premiums are sometimes high when demand spikes, like now.

2. Buy a PM trust like $PSLV. This is an audited trust, meaning the silver they claim to have is verified. This fund tracks the spot price of silver, so if you can't get hands on actual silver or premiums are too high , you put your money here. When premiums have cooled down, you sell your fund and buy silver at the same time. Since both are tracking spot price, you should technically not lose any money in conversion from paper to physical.

3. Buy stock in a mining company which is involved in mining of PMs, like $AG or $UUUU. Since they're operating costs are more or less same irrespective of cost of the metal, any increase in price of PM is direct profit, and can lead to increase share price

This sort of deal is rare. Are you able to show me many other examples of it? People who have spoken to the CEO on the phone have reported that he wants to pay a dividend. e. g. : "I've known Graeme, the CEO, since maybe 2007 or so. He's careful about dilution and believes in rewarding his supporters. He would like to pay a dividend at some point if possible." If he has already paid a silver dividend in the form of this silver option it isn't a far stretch to imagine that he'll do so again.

Again I ask because this is the crucial point: was this a public offering PP or an institutional PP? If it was the former, then we can speculate more firmly about a physical divvy. If the latter then it's not totally extraordinary. One example of an institutional deal like this I came across recently was OTSO Gold's* loan with an institution. If I remember correctly they have to pay back part of their debt by shipping some of the gold they produce in the future to the institution.

*To save your time: shit company, don't even research.

Thank you for helping.

I went back to the fact-sheets on Sprott to check how it works, the fact that it is redeemable is on the english fact sheet but not on the dutch one (my native language), that's why I missed it was redeemable.

I'm just worried that when prices boom they block the share. A friend of mine had placed an order on a silver tracker in the weekend and it was blocked this morning without explanation. Obviously the silver squeeze did it but imagine your stock being worth a lot and no being able to sell.

And physical silver is not easy to sell, certainly not as quickly. Also, tax on physical silver(unless if it is coins) and paladium in Belgium, gold is exempt from tax(unless it's jewelry).

all I've got is bullion and a little $ag for speculation's sake
this thing about $SLV with people saying that trying to short silver is just going to make hedgies rich because they own $SLV, it's making me a little bit furious
the aggressive ignorance of dumfucks on twitter and elsewhere has been slowly working my nerves for five fucking years now, and it's only getting worse
the thing is, it's so easy to form an opinion about something if you don't bother to get the facts. You just go with your first impulse. And it's easier yet to push your opinion on the rest of the world, because you haven't exhausted yourself trying to figure out the actual truth
meanwhile, more intelligent people are bogged down with things like reading and doing research, so the counternarrative is weak

I trade a little crypto because I made good money doing it, nothing life changing but comfortable. I also think that the pump of BTC to over 100k is coming in a next cycle, but this pump is done. I will cash out after the next cycle if it's even there anymore.

Both I suppose. It is a very significant thing that /pol/ has finally come on board with silver. I never saw that before. I used to argue with them for hours on end and sometimes be the only person advocating for silver in threads which would get to hundreds of posts. And now all of a sudden half the threads on the catalogue are about silver. Don't know what it is that has changed the Zeitgeist so quickly but it is quite remarkable to see. We built a lot of the fundamentals on /pmg/ and /biz/, e. g. most of the memes being posted were created here months ago. And we understand the economic fundamentals extremely well and have been ready to spread them about quickly to others. e. g. We were immediately ready to advocate for PSLV and attack SLV because we have had to fight that battle here for over a year. So we were able to educate people here when the time was right, and 4chan wasn't led astray in that regard, unlike WSB.
