I usually would not give a shit about typing it out, but I'll give some food for thought for you guys:
1.) When NIO's lockup expired, their insiders held their shares and their stock value went up.
2.) Insiders have huge incentive to keep the price as high as possible before selling, so they might wait until at least 100 before selling.
3.) This is also slightly related to 2, but if you don't see a lot of insider activity in terms of selling PLTR shares, and you see Momma Cathie keep buying shares (like she allegedly did at 35), these two factors are going to drive the price into at least the 50's and maybe 60's if additional huge contracts come in for them.

The only downward force on the stock is the lockup, and everyone wants to wait until the lockup expires to see what the insiders do. If insiders sell, don't buy for a little while. If insiders keep their positions, buckle your fucking seatbelt because we are going to take off.

Screencap this to either prove I'm right, or that I'm a retard who doesn't know what he's talking about.

seriously, what does it physically look like to buy out 138% of existing shares? the only thing i can imagine is they "buy" every share at 138% of whatever market value EOD friday is. and they owe that much, plus interest for as long as they don't have funds to buy it out.

i think it would work like, if you tried to hodl for 4 months more, you wouldn't make anything new. they'd still owe 1.38x plus interest TO and only to the point they physically had the money to buy you out. does anything else make sense as an endgame on this?

so the profit you will make is 1.38x market value EOD Friday minus your buy-cost, if they had the funds up front to pay you on friday evening, which they probably will (which is why they're getting loans from their hedge fund friends.) and it doesn't matter if you let it be sold on friday close or try to hold longer, that's the exit price, no more and no less. and they can't lower that price just by throwing money at the problem. that market price is going to be determined solely by the volume of all the small fish and the competing firms holding shares. so the time at which their short contracts are due (EOD friday) is going to lock the price in they are obligated for. but hodling won't lose you money, either.
