New to crypto trading.

What's the point in holding for longer than 3 days, when you can just buy a scam coin, ride to the apex of the wave, cash out, then do it again for another new scam coin? You could just keep 5x-ing your cash over and over again without having to pray for the fabled "moon". If you only buy new coins, your investment is guaranteed to multiply during the initial pump. That's when you leave.

I can see building a small fortune with that.

Is that what you guys do?

I suppose so.
You don't think that just knowing about new coins is 80% of the battle? Most people didnt even know about doge until last week.

Most scamcoins have already pumped and "devs" are primed to dump by the time they get shilled here

Oh wow, why has nobody ever thought of this? Of course, just figure out when it's at its lowest point, buy, then sell it when it's at its highest point.

Nobody knows what they're doing. Take your time, lurk and learn from the mistakes of others. If you try your luck with pumps and dumps, don't get too greedy and never FOMO in if you think you're too late. Long term holds are simply comfy, you don't want to stare at the graphs for days, it fucks with you in multiple ways.

Go for it. Post results in a couple of weeks.

There are two main problems with it:
>timing
By the time you get to know about the coin it probably has already pumped
>liquidity
I jumped on a shitcoin recently, but it was so illiquid that when it dumped I couldn't cash out. The DEX would charge ridiculous ETH fees for it and I'm a poorfag in a third world shithole with a worthless currency, so it’s not worth it for me to buy more ETH to fulfill the transaction because I’ll end up spending more on fees than I’ll get when I sell the shitcoin

Here's a real answer, it's easy to tell where the dips and valleys are looking at a chart of the past. It's very, very, very difficult to tell where they are looking at line in real time. You sell at the "peak", and it goes up 10x. You buy in a "valley" and it drops by 90%

okay anon since i went from a measly poorfag .34 eth on friday to a solid 4 eth this morning riding shitcoin waves (and i missed shiba which was a money machine) trying your strat out here are the issues

>99% are literal scams
rugpulls and pajeets are so dumb they will pull rug on a 10 dollar profit instead of waiting for millions
>there is always hesitation
Every single one has that thought of "really.. should i really.."
>gas fees take a toll
and congestion can make cashing out hard
>liquidity
this was a big issue with several shitcoins i rode on. it's a literal gamble if you can even realize your gains a lot of the time.

Otherwise... if you hit the right one it can change everything. I for one have gotten decent at reading "vibes" which sound gay but the token logo and name have a lot to do if a pnd will succeed or not.

That's called gambling. You'll have way more consistent growth if you pick a stable coin to and buy once a month.

all of them are great tokens to put money into and forget for 2 years. but that's only if you have capital.

Because as soon as some of these pajeet teams see that some random guy put in 50 eth, they rugpull. You can only be successful in these scams with low amounts of money and be early.

Doge isn’t a new coin, and people around biz have known of it for years. Its just a shitty meme coin though. It really only pumped because so many people said to buy it, and after the gme hysteria people were eager to invest more money when you couldn’t buy gme. Just typical pump chaser mentality. It just doesn’t work out when that’s all you do, you’ll lose a lot of money. I’m not going to sit here and spoon feed you though, read through some threads here. There are some actually good coins shilled here, do research and buy something you believe in. Don’t just blindly buy what everyone else does.

you'll never have the balls (or the stupidity) to put as much in a scam coin as you would in a legit project
I got 20x on 4ch5, but I put in just $200. Made $4000, which is great, but not life changing
Meanwhile I got a 5x on PRQ. Since it wasn't a rugpull, I put in $10000. 5x was $50000 - the down payment for a house

Sounds great until you buy the wrong one and lose all of your money

It's the same concept as the stock market
>Why would I invest in a low risk index fund instead of swinging penny stocks??
Because when you lose with something so volatile, you lose hard.

Don't listen to these shills bro this is a great strategy. If anything 3 days if too long try to keep to just 3 hours per meme coin. That's my average and I just bought my 17th lambo, I went for the yellow one.

>when you can just buy a scam coin, ride to the apex of the wave

you wouldn't call them scamcoin if you could do it again, ride them when they trend up only and don't marry your bags
