I think adoption in itself is going to be very difficult for the project. That combined with their marketing skills is why I've become pretty bearish these last few months.

I think RLC is a bit of an exception. Usually it would've gotten caught in a positive spiral of people buying in > higher price > more attention to the project > more people buying. RLC has been years in development and many times it has dumped and the chart has rarely looked attractive, so many people that knew about the project have given up. I think the only reason why it is alive at all is because they have a solid product, but I don't think it can depend on the crypto community to pump the price until the people that have given up on it see that it is working and that they are getting adoption. And to achieve this they need marketing to attract users.

You can also see this dynamic in the chart of RLC: this summer it went almost parabolic because for some reason people started believing in it again, after which it dumped for months in sats because again people were disappointed and gave up. If RLC can redeem itself it really can go parabolic like nothing you've seen before.

My slight concern is that we don't know what UNI V3 will bring, that being said, we know for a fact that with next month's release DEXG will reduce slippage considerably over UNI and we know that it will reduce impermanent loss for liquidity providers, thanks to the single asset pools backed by wETH (something sushi and uni are already trying to copy).

Fact is though, there is room for a number of dexes to prosper, especially when you consider that sushiswap, a shitty clone of UNI by a known scammer, has over 1 billion market cap.
