Ok so elon just interrogated Vlad the CEO of Robinhood on Clubhouse. Vlad explained that he got a $3 billion dollar notice from the biggest regulator called the NSCC to deposit collateral on Thursday morning at 3:30am.

The NSCC (a private entity) flagged robinhood's VAR rating when the trading volume increased dramatically and the NSCC demanded a 10x deposit greater than what the company regularly puts down.

Robinhood made the decision to fix its VAR with the NSCC as fast and fairly as possible, so they reduced the retail traders ability to buy stocks that next day.

The private organization "NSCC/DTCC" has already been accused of alleging culpability for harboring naked short selling during the financial crisis.
