Because they did on the open market. If you look through there was hundreds of thousands of BULK transactions. My chart is showing the smaller transactions, in otherwords the transactions they would have actually gained.

The bulk transactions were what drove the price down. You can view these separately. Places like Robinhood report both Bulk and small transactions together. Tradeview shows you only small transactions if you are set to a timeline under a day. And over a day it will add the bulk trades back in.

This essentially allows you to split the day and view intential short sells, vs the gains of shares they are gettings.
