i'd also like to point out that a lot of the problems you pose in general are solved by being financially literate in the first place. the only reason im getting to a million dollars any time soon is because of all of the time i've invested into investing my money. i don't see why that wouldn't carry over into the rest of my life, generally the more money you make the easier it is to make more money. there are clearly ways to protect your capital that rich people use and you can learn them and use them yourself as you acquire more money. it's foolish to expect someone who can make that much money for themselves (not inherited or something) is going to be too dumb to deal with withdrawal rates or inflations, or act like im not always up to date on current events and positioning my funds accordingly.
