Leaving that in to compound at 18% apy would double your passive income about every 5 years. Any ×4+ moon mission would be throwing off like a real middle class income passively within 5 years.

>gravestone candleDUMP IMMINENT
>>27272374Guys, you need to stop trying to swing it on the exchange for some fast cash. Why the 10 billion? A good chunk of this is going to end up with big indexers and won't be sold. The VCs that bought this in the beginning are going to make millions a day indexing when the prices go up. The price will rise because of the scarcity available for regular people to buy. It's going to all be bought up by these whales who will NEVER sell. It is a true stakecoin that will make whoever delegates a ridiculous amount of passive income. I have a feeling that the query rewards for some of the bigger VC indexers are going to be insane. It's set up to pump endlessly based on the supgraphs that are added. They will likely stagger these additions to maximize profits for the big indexers. It's going to be pumping constantly over the years. A decent stack will be easily making you a upper middle class income every year. Think of it as a nonstop money printing machine. If no query rewards were even given, delegating a 10,000 stack at $5 would be like having a shit job you never have to go to. Oh, and it's going to be worth much more than $5

>>27280252It don't go down.
>>27279463>>27279463I'm full dick in on GRT myself, but aren't the reward percentages going to decrease as more and more subgraphs come online and the demand for queries go up?I'd imagine the query fees will become fractions of GRT so the best bet will be the volume the indexer in question receives.
DON'T CROSS THE 07NOOOOGO DOWN STUPID COIN
>>27280859You know why it's better than actual Staking? Because delegating with GRT means the rewards aren't actually realized in your wallet until you undelegate. Which means it's not taxed as income like traditional staking is. It's only taxed as capital gains just like every other coin you hold onto. It's more similar to providing liquidity on DEX pools like uniswap. That means you won't get a FAT ASS payment that you owe the IRS at the end of the year. You know how fucking nice it is to just let it sit there and accumulate on it's own and not have to deal with the tax problems of such a thing? Pretty fucking nice.
>>2727991610,000 with decent indexers would get you about 10 grt a day. That's with no query rewards, which will come later. The only fud left on this is that it will drop in price one billions more are unlocked. These will be snapped up by indexers. The indexer with the most right now, figment-lensnicap, has a maximum of 2 billion that can be delegated. It will fill up. The next biggest indexer has a max of 500 million. At least half the tokens will be indexed or delegated. I believe that it will actually pump when the tokens are released. I'm thinking a pump to $5 is conservative.

>>27289938Unironically at least $2
>>27288762I believe in the long term vision of GRT, so I need it to remain low for a while longer while I stock up
>>27290179>>27289938depends on bitcoin and ethereum but $2 if they are stable, $10 if they both 3x from here.
bros wtf do I do. I sold everything at 63 cents. When do I get back in?>inb4 swingieno it was a mistake
>>27290317Hopefully u can get back in where u sold at.
I hope it dumps so I can buy more but seeing it go so high so fast makes me excited

>>27290682I hope anon
>>27290710its address
>>27289938Depends on uniswap and web 3.0 integration, with big innovation this could be 2-3$ EOY with top 10 market cap. I could see a world where everything runs on the graph in a few years.>the graph of indexing Screenshot for future generations
>>27290710>0x1692a8710dcf0dce24bd34c028479176b97ee9efIs there any point in delegating if you only have a small stack (1.8K)?The address belongs to who's node?
>>27290088>>27290710Anon this is meant to be kept under wraps longer I'm not done accumulating yet.
What are we re-buying back in at swingies? Haven't learned my lesson yet, im hoping for low .60s tues-thurs, thoughts?
>>27290710>https://thegraph.stake-machine.com/?orgId=1&refresh=5mThe stake-machine is a website which uses the graphQL to keep a running record of EVERY delegator and indexer on the graph. It provides this service for free. You can support the stake-machine by delegating your tokens to this address 0x1692a8710dcf0dce24bd34c028479176b97ee9ef (this is the indexers address, its where you delegate your GRT to)On the website it says "Delegate to us You can support further development by delegating to stake-machine.eth") Best thing about delegating to the stake machine is that they have some of the best reward rates for delegation. You can see these reward rates by plugging in the Indexers address (0x1692a8710dcf0dce24bd34c028479176b97ee9ef) into this website https://the-graph-rewards.com/Keep asking questions if you have them.
>>27292342>0x1692a8710dcf0dce24bd34c028479176b97ee9efI see they offer GRT and $$ as monthly rewards, anyone just offer all GRT?
how much GRT do I need to be a whale and dump the market when I sell ?
>>27292585They do not offer monthly rewards. The way delegation works is you get a cut of the rewards they earn for having your tokens (for the stake machine you keep about 90% of the reward your tokens bring the indexer).https://the-graph-rewards.com/ is showing you how many tokens you would be earning a month with you delegation. If you had 4k tokens you'd earn about 50 a month. The rewards website is showing about how much USD those tokens are worth at the current priceFurthermore the rewarded tokens are placed directly into your delegated account (not back into your wallet) as that would cost far too much gas.
>>27293049>>27292585They do not offer monthly **CASH** rewards. No one does. Delegation only pays in tokens.
>>27293225>>27293049I see. So, is there any reason I shouldn't already be delegating my stack? I know GRT has a nice write up, I'm just looking for the TLDR.
Since nobody's posted it yet. The guide to staking. Have fun and see you all in Monaco in 5 years
