Because it's wildly undervalued. People are misreading NOK like a shitty version of T-mobile because they think Nokia still makes shitty cell phones. You, on the other hand, can see what NOK is doing now will position them to strike at the likes of Comcast and Verizon and gobble up their customer bases.

This. Anything under 5 is a super steal, anything under 10 is still a discount long-term. I'm sitting in 850 shares at the moment for that deep value.
Nokia's a legacy company not going away any time soon, they're doing good stuff with 5G, and fags here forget they service the rest of the world too -- just cause you dont see people with nokia phones in the US doesn't mean they don't exist.

Yes. Literally everything. Nokia is not only leading the charge in building the 5G infrastructure (along with Ericsson, iirc). Nokia has also claimed to have 6G - a 1TB router using the cell networks.

In the next 3-10 years if NOK doesn't completely self-destruct, they will be able to offer strictly superior products to every cell company and ISP in the world.

Nokia doesn't move. I sat in this shit for 2 years because I knew of all the 5G pies they had their fingers in. As the news officially rolled out I rub my hands together like a happy merchant but the price never changed.
I'm out now but best of luck.

You're thinking of their phones, which haven't been relevant for like 10 years.
They're a major player in the network field, but because of the stigma that got left from their colossal phone failure, people tend to ignore the company and don't even realize what they're currently doing.

They were a failure because the higher ups refused to listen to their innovators and pretty much just fired them over the years and cut costs, all the while trying to make it by only catering to the business market. That was the reason for their downfall.
They completely dropped the ball with the under 30 years old audience, especially the teenager market and that kicked them in the balls and let everyone else fly past them.
Their tech was damn good, but they sucked absolute ass at marketing and reading the market direction.

Everyone buy the NOK dip. Wall St is dumping NOK irrationally. That’s why the price is going down (slowly). When we buy the stock for cheap, they are literally giving us their money. After Wall St rans out of stock, the price skyrockets.

Wallstreet ran out of shares for half an hour. That spike in pic was them running out of shares. Trade was stopped until they could find more, to avoid an "artificial" spike in the price.

I know it's reddit but here's a post that explains it in full: https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets/comments/l6rmkl/we_need_to_talk_about_nok/

BUY THE DIP UNTIL THEY RUN OUT OF STOCK, THEN THE PRICE WILL SKYROCKET.

Sounds about right. I remember the story about the CEO and his board all going buying iPhones to try and work out why it was selling like hot cakes in the Arctic. CEO let his little girl play with it for a bit, then went to bed taking it with him. Not long after his little girl knocked on his door and asked if she could play with the magic phone again. At that moment he knew his company was fucked.

is completely right though and shit like picrel is WHY Nokia is undervalued now. If you're investing in Nokia, think of it more like an ISP and worldwide cell provider.

I don't doubt that story one bit. Nokia simply didn't have the appeal Apple did.

I remember people calling my new Nokia an old man phone around 2007.
That gives a pretty good idea of how teens saw the brand even back then and that was when Nokia was doing fairly well.
After that they dropped like a rock though.
I'm a Finn and I didn't even know Samsung phones or any most brands were a thing until like 2006 and that's because no one had them here. I saw few Ericssons and that's about it.
Absolutely everyone had a Nokia.
But in a very short amount of time people had ditched them and moved to other models. And what did Nokia do? Just kept on with the businessman market, because Finns are absolute morons when it comes to making anything trendy or appealing. We only seem to understand the stiff businessman market.
Also their approach at youth market was damn near comical. "Yeah I bet the kids will love this!" and >>27264917 this monstrosity was the result.

Icing on the cake was Microsoft sale, which was probably done just to sabotage Nokia and suppress their ability to make anything even remotely appealing.
Thank fuck they didn't sell their patents, just licensed them to Microsoft.

They're pretty big in the 5G field and they're also developing 6G.
They're snatching 5G contracts all over the world, especially now that Chinks aren't that popular and people don't trust their tech.
SEB is also predicting that Nokia is going to grow faster than Ericsson and might benefit from some patent deals they're doing with Apple.
Nokia hasn't been paying dividends for a while now, but they might reinstate them Feb 4 when they publish their quarterly report, which is expected to be very positive.

Pretty much all news about Nokia are good and their long term future looks very bright. Unfortunately because of old mental images about the company, people pretty much just ignore them.
That will probably change now that they were thrust into public's eye and this should kickstart their growth. Unless of course the long nose tribe keeps on suppressing their stock to accumulate it themselves.
