The more the dev funds are diluted, the less risk there is of there being issues with the SEC. Once the marketplace is truly live, beyond KYC and staking, and the dev funds are reasonably diluted, they are completely in the clear. They probably didn’t expect the price to go up so fast, and are trying to dump as quickly and consistently as possible - this is also why if they stopped dumping or changed the amount based on market events it would be grounds for securities fraud. They’re also expanding like fucking crazy, but they have so much runway that the development funds are essentially infinite (unless they’re also seeking to acquire more companies, which is also again a bit risky re:anti-trust).
