So people were pumped about GME stock hitting 1k, 10k, even shit as retarded as 50k.
Obviously with the attention it's gotten, the Fed and SEC will never let that happen.
Assuming most people will just dump at 1k at this point (if it even gets to that)? I know a lot of what's happening is supposed to create FUD in regards to this as that's the MMs job to do. But I honestly believe they have too much money to lose. They won't let this shit happen.

Banned from buying GME? Buy GAMR or XRT instead. They're ETFs that both derive about 27% of their value from GME right now. They move similarly to GME and buying options in GAMR or XRT will give you a similar effect to the direction and percentage moves of GME. If you just buy shares of either of the ETFs, you will move in the same direction of GME just at a lower percentage so it may be even safer if you think GME is too risky.
Pic related shows the three charts stacked to highlight the similarity.
I'm about to go to dinner so any further spamming of this in future threads will have to wait until tomorrow.

Okay, so regarding GME: other than illegal hedgie shit, what are some things they could do at this point to fuck us over?
Things i could think of:

>Shorts don't "expire", so they could decide to cover their shorts one at a time over a period of a year to keep the stock from mooning
I know it adds interest to your shorts if you wait to pay them back, but since only hedgies short, i assume that the system is rigged i such a way that they'll still get off the hook with much less financial losses than if they covered all their shorts next week.
>They could call up GameStop and tell them that they'll invest 1 billion USD into GME after this is over, if GameStop agrees to issue 50 million new shares

Keep in mind that i'm retarded though so i'm not sure if they can actually do either of these, but i'm just assuming they can.

What happens to silver and gold miners when the stock market deflates

>> No.27175284

“I thought I was making an incredible investment,” Mark Hilton of Sherwood Elementary School stated. “I read in Margin of Safety by Seth Klarman that when kids on Wall Street Bets bid up bankrupt stocks you should short them. When GameStop went to $100 per share I put $15,000 of our school’s funds into a short.”

Mark Hilton, 45, has been the superintendent of Sherwood Elementary School in St. Louis, Missouri for 10 years. During the past ten year’s Mark has been in charge of managing Sherwood’s endowment fund – mainly investing in long-term index funds. This past year during the pandemic, Mark started to read as many investing book as he could get his hands on.

“I read over 14 books on investment strategy,” Mark said. “When I saw the hype with GameStop I remembered Ben Graham saying how meme stocks are a great short when kids on internet forums take them to ridiculous valuations.”

Literally seconds after Mark put a short order in, GameStop went to $400. “I was devastated. Not only did I short GameStop but I did it on 10x margin. When I looked at Sherwood’s Robinhood account it showed negative $12 million.”

Sherwood Elementary is now in the hole for $12.45 million. The school is on the verge of bankruptcy and ruin and completely out of funds. “We are holding a local bake sale this weekend,” Mark stated. “But there is no way we can come up with this money. I will have to fire all of our great teachers.”

If you have any idea what Sherwood Elementary can do to raise funds don’t hesitate to call the district.

Two stages.
First (weeks to months): Commodities deflate, miners follow
Second: (months to years out): Commodities inflate, miners follow. Almost always inflate faster than typical because central banks rush in with various names for money printing.
Bonus: If the central banks finally let the major downturn happen they have been making worse delaying for decades, then gold and silver miners go up because there is a rush to these assets as well.

Definitely but it will be an attenuated drop. As XTR and GAMR drop, they're composition of GME will be smaller and smaller so like right now if GME drops 30%, GAMR/XTR might drop 10%. However after that first 30% drop by GME, if GME drops another 30%, GAMR/XTR having a now smaller composition of GME should only drop e.g. 7 or 8% and on and on. Eventually when GME hits the bottom it will be such a small percentage of GAMR/XTR that it will have very little effect. The opposite will happen on the way up. As GME becomes a higher percentage of GAMR/XTR the correlation will increase asymptotically

If you are unfortunate enough to look at what the retards at /pol/ is spewing, they think that buying GME is their way of "owning the Jews from Wall St" and urge to hold.

If you visit r/politics, it is their way of destroying the 1%, establishment, and rich old white guys wearing suit by holding GME.

What does this mean? The institutions pulled a PsyOp to make this GME fiasco look like "little mom and pop retail vs. the psychopaths from Wall St.", when it really is hedge funds trying to devour each other alive, using the vox populi as a façade. They have united both the far right and far left and every gullible new investor in between.

Sure, AOC and Ted Cruz both spoke out against hedge funds, but little do people know how much investment that politicians have in stock market. If you tell r/politics that politicians are corrupt sycophants that serve the elite, you will get Reddit gold. If you tell r/politics how much shares and TSLA call options that Nancy Pelosi has, you will be called a Magapede and get downvoted into oblivion.

The politicians will let the institutions, who own 85% of GME shares, exit merrily and drop their bags along the way to thousands of bagholders, while praising them songs of glory as they lay dying and becoming financially destitute, but they are delusional enough to carry their bags all the way to their grave just to "own the Wall st".

No matter who wins, we lose. But the ones who hold GME will be the ones losing the hardest. The entire WSB has been infiltrated with millions of bots, shills, and macros that silence any dissenters with downvotes. They tell each other to hold no matter what, as they plan their exit plan. When you can dupe an Average Jane and Joe that their share of GME will go up to 1000, 5000, to the moon (actual comments I've read from r/stocks and r/investing), you know that this will end bad for them.

More likely, they lied to try to convince people to sell and thought that they'd be able to take a slap on the wrist on the other side. They'd probably get fined a few million tops for lying, but could make back billions if they successfully pulled off a short of GME's entire marketcap with stock prices at $300. They could borrow the shares they borrowed and borrow them again, complete "sell orders" until they crush the stock into the dirt, and then buy every single stock back at 10 cents to close. if im right (it was just a guess) then it's really just a data collection error, in my earlier examlple citadel reports ownership of the share but they don't have possession of the share, all they have is a creditor relationship with citadel

That's an extremely retarded comment. Dealers are market makers, so they're always buyers and sellers.

In 1970s stagflation there was a mania for gold/silver and especially mining stocks, in the same way there was for dotcom stocks. Hard to imagine today, most people think of them as just boomer rocks.

Just fucking wait until everyone realizes how much silver is needed for solar, EV, semiconductors, green energy, etc. And how LITTLE silver there actually is to go around. Mania will come again for the precious metals.

you still might as well hold on to this if you got fooled and bought GME only recently. That money is lost.
