PSLV. Sprott will stand for delivery to balance the fund. Buying physical silver is good, but all you are going to do is dry up the retail market and drive up premiums. You won’t be impacting JPM. The only way to hit JPM is to remove bars from the COMEX. If you personally don’t have the means to remove bars from the COMEX, then the next best thing you can do is buy up PSLV. Eric Sprott will then go buy and stand for delivery for the COMEX bars on your behalf to balance the fund. Google Sprott taking delivery. He’s done it before. COMEX can be broken. You have to remove the bars from the COMEX. Either you stand for delivery or you buy into a fund that actually will stand for delivery and take the silver off COMEX. JPM runs SLV, so it’s just a paper game. Eric Sprott runs PSLV, and he WILL stand for delivery. So if you personally cannot take a 1,000 Oz bar off COMEX, the next best thing is for people to pile into PSLV and Sprott will go take delivery for all the new demand to keep the fund balanced. Each share of PSLV stands for 0.3616 Oz of silver. If the price of PSLV goes up due to demand, but the price of silver doesn’t go up accordingly, then Sprott will need to go buy and take delivery of more silver to keep PSLV in line with the spot price of silver such that 1 share of PSLV represents 0.3616 of silver at spot minus fees.

But even more powerfully, QE sucks up all the best quality collateral in the repo markets. Our money system isn’t actually based on consumer lending anymore like Econ textbooks still teach. It’s actually the shadow banking system where the multiplier effect happens. The same debt instrument in the repo market can get rehypothecated something like 8 times multiplying the capital in the shadow system. If the Fed is sucking these up through QE and only giving useless bank reserves in return, then the capacity for the shadow banking system to inflate is greatly reduced. Bank reserves are nothing and QE is just a bank reserve swap that takes the best collateral out of the system and gives useless bank reserves in return.

Answer #2 if you are paranoid of another 1930s-esque government silver confiscation would specifically be collectible coins/silverware/jewelry. You will pay a much higher premium for these, but in the past, they have always been immune to government confiscations.

I personally don't see another confiscation happening because everyone has seen the first one was a fraud, the president now is nowhere near as popular as FDR was to be able to get support to pull it off, and also silver has more industrial demand than ever because of solar panels, electric vehicles, etc.

So I would go with answer #1. If you have a lot of money, go for 100oz bars. If not, go for 1oz rounds, I recommend the sunshine minting ones, but go with whatever has got the lowest premium above spot price.

You guys are missing my point; AG has a 30% short interest. Silver itself, the commodity, has easily a 1000% short interest, no memeing. AG went up a lot last week, but so did silver itself, and so did every other silver miner.

I'm saying that there's potentially even greater profit to be made on call options on other silver miners at the moment because the IV on them is still relatively low compared to AG, and that they all move together anyways.

For example, my $13 CDE calls (which traded around $9.50 at close) were only $20 each. That's an insanely low premium. Versus AG calls, every one of which is trading at 10x that premium.

If silver moons they all moon; AG's short interest specifically is somewhat irrelevant.
