If you have capital, then blue chips. If not, and you're trying to make a "quick buck" then thats not going to happen. Thats why people say "believe in the company" if you're looking for holding long. Shorter time frame holds increase risk. See how much you're willing to lose, because if you're just starting out then you most definitely will. But thats all part of the process in order to become a better trader and eventually if you're not a retard, make some money.

Unironically gold. It won't hyperinflate. It probably isn't a bubble, or at least it probably won't drop more than 50%. If you think US government bonds are safe, then gold is safer because it won't inflate, and inflation is a higher risk.

Bitcoin is also safe, but I think it could drop more if it really was a bubble (I don't think it is - I think its headed to over $1,000,000).

Stocks are not safe, I think cost increases are going to fuck a lot of businesses models and companies are going to start sucking money from their valuations by issuing more equity to stay afloat. Personally, I think the next 10 years will be a stagnant stock market, or at least growth much lower than real inflation.

So the "safest" assets right now are probably PMs and Bitcoin. MAYBE established cryptos that aren't pumped yet like LTC.

Non meme answer is index funds. You can safely put in as much money as you want and know that in a year's time, it will only go up assuming the market doesn't absolutely shatter (but even then, it has and will always recover)

>Safest
A mortgage is the safest "investment." I have a relatively high income for my age group (top 5%) in my country. I spent a large amount of time researching and investing in various things (income-property, stonks, arbitrage, etc.) The reality is that for my risk threshold, the mortgage makes the most sense to take-on as well as payoff soonest. You live in this investment, use it everyday. Fools will tell you to rent now for less and invest in ridiculous things: but the risk of turning 40 without owning property is too high. A mortgage is long-term, stable, and practical. This is an extremely boring answer, so you know it is true.

Also good
