You know how I know you fags aren't gonna make it, because you never talk about ADA.

Keep your Linkies and stay poor

>> No.27133446

ADA isn't going to make it. Tech moves to fast, and ADA isn't moving at all.

I only have £50 in ADA but I bought it a while ago. Whats realistic EOY? I think $3 but I have not seen any real movement yet.

>> No.27133916

the devs and users have already spoken when it comes to alternative smart contract platforms. they cant even get people to use layer 2 on ethereum for cheap fees, how do you think they could get them to use a totally different barren platform?

>> No.27134021

There are literally no tools for developers wanting to build on cardano

haskell is a dead language. if they wanted smart contracts in a functional language they should have made their own like bitcoin is doing.

the barrier to entry for a non-haskell dev (99.99% of developers) to learn haskell or their simpler specific function language is equivalent. doesn't look good from a tech leadership perspective.

Even if BTC and ETH moon to 200k/10k
I’d be shocked if ADA ended up at $3. I think $1.5 would be possible in that scenario but $1 is probably more realistic

tokens are native to Cardano, you don't need to code to create them (as opposed to Ethereum)
To code smart contract you have graphical tools available to build it without coding
Anyway, all of this (Mary Hard Fork) is deployed on testnet monday, for a mainnet released targeted last week of February
No saying they will win the battle against ETH2 and DOT, but they certainly have their chances.

>>27133732
you sound like a retard. LINK has nothing to do with anything Cardano related. A wise crypto guy should hold both.

ADA is the future!

It's also a huge reddit coin and you know what they did with GME, AMC and DOGE!

Legit more posts on ADA then ETH reddit.

>>27134507
yeah, easy tooling for tokens is a nice idea, but the time for that to compete with ethereum was 2016. tokens aren't hot anymore, ICOs are dead, now the most popular smart contracts are actual real contracts, thats why fees have exploded. even during the height of the ICO boom ethereum was never used for anything more than a glorified omni/mastercoin network, but not anymore.

I own ADA, still think its got a good Q1 coming up but honestly Dot is going to steal its limelight unless ADA can quickly get some apps Dapps funded and built, soon Polkadot will release with like 30 apps, all interoperable with Ethereum. Yeah Charles took his time slightly too long and Gavin is coming.

>> No.27135742

>>27135290
they are addibg it because why not, it is the most popular smart contract language at the momen, and gives devs a better home and time to see the light and incentive to learn more about cardano. and since cardano is onboarding every major prigramming language, (not just haskell), those devs will habe multiple paths forward to leave solidity shitcode behind and eventually (hopefully) die
