27123695 No.27123695 [Reply] [Original]

DEXs that use layer 2 protocols allow much faster and cheaper trading than DEXs that utilize onchain tx.
Stakenet has been building a Lightning Network-based DEX nonstop since 2018 and it has remained way ahead of the curve on layer 2 ever since.

Why is this important?
>when you trade from a non-custodial wallet, you trade from a wallet you own the keys to
Unlike CEXs, DEXs are non-custodial. You never lose control of your money. Any proper DEX is non-custodial, and ideally the superior option.
>when you trade from layer 2, trading feels like it does on a CEX
CEXs are popular because they're fast and they can stay fast when handling a lot of volume. Onchain/L1 atomic swaps are not strong enough to compete with this experience. Too slow, too expensive. Especially when congested.
Alternatively, Lightning Network and Connext allow for BTC and ETH to be sent instantly for very low fees.
>XSN makes multiple blockchains interoperable at L2
Unlike the vast majority of DEXs that are based on Ethereum and limited to ERCs and wrapped assets, XSN is built on Lightning Network, offering native interoperability with real Bitcoin and Litecoin in addition to the entire ETH/ERC ecosystem through Connext.
Instant off-chain swaps between BTC/USDT are already happening on the DEX right now.

Here's the current proposal for how DEX fees will be distributed once it reaches stage 3 (Hydra) of its development.
https://medium.com/stakenet/hydra-dex-network-upgrade-proposal-4b00a3a3fb8
>negative interest rates for Makers
>0.25% taker fee
of which
>10% is burned
>90% to MNs and LPs based on volume
The 90% begins as a 45/45 MN/LP split and gradually progresses to a ceiling at 22.5/67.5 MN/LP split@$1 billion 24h vol.

This tool is very helpful.
https://stakenetmasternodecalculator.web.app/

Pic related is the distribution at $1 billion/24h volume. Don't miss out, /biz/.

A project like this could take advantage of the whole GME debacle at Robinhood.

Huh I would have thought this token is available at Binance but it’s not. Low volume low market cap.

So this will work like uniswap?

>> No.27124241

>>27123695

So I should be able to buy xsn on the Dex no?

>> No.27124318

>>27124179
Existing DEX's like UNI are mostly on the Ethereum blockchain and as such you can ONLY trade ERC-20 tokens. this is a problem because
a) it restricts you to just ethereum and you cant seamlessly trade between ERC-20 and the other biggest blockchain BTC, and

b) because theres so much trading occurring on these ERC-20 DEX's now the network is congested and you have to pay higher and higher fee's for every trade.

Stakenet DEX wanted to build a DEX where just like a CEX like binance, you can trade between ANY blockchain. It's an ambitious projects and its taken them a few years, but it its nearly here.

Stakenet DEX will revolutionise crypto because for the first time ever you exchange between separate blockchains in a decentralised way. we can get rid of centralised exchanges and be our own banks.

XSN never had an ICO, so it had to do everything the old-school way - hardcore development through a bear market with little to no institutional support for about 2 years.
It's on Bitfinex and Whitebit.
Pic related is from the SSUI interface. Pretty similar to Uniswap. It's a normie style way to buy. There's also a way to manually move funds and buy off the orderbooks
>>27124241
You can use the current open beta of the DEX to buy XSN right now if you wanted to.
Looks like there's a decent amount on the orderbooks and there's been a lot of volume.

Here's one question I have.
Assuming 90% of XSNs supply is locked up as is now.
What happens if the DEX sees $100m in 24h volume?
Apply a 2.5% taker's fee, and you have $2.5 million - 10% of which ($250k) gets burnt.
Is the 10% which is burnt going to pretty much buy $250k in XSN straight off the orderbooks and burn it?
I do wonder how the fee swaps will be automatically executed as well. Fees accrued from BTC/LTC will have to be swapped into XSN. How? Timeframe seems pretty important.
Swapping BTC/LTC/USDT/ETH rewards into XSN too often would be inefficient and swapping too infrequently could cause a lot of volatility.
In time, it'd be nice to know how that works in more detail. I see it being pretty easy to do with some combination of a smart contract that periodically swaps fees from other coins into XSN at a fixed time interval that uses SSUI to buy down the sell wall.

They are swapped instantly as the trades happen as I understand it. So on a BTC/USDT trade the Maker makes their cut instantly in USDT and then the rest of the USDT fee goes and buys XSN at the same time. So it’s not 1 huge buy order every day it’s constant little buy orders 24/7. More than 10% of the fee gets market bought though because the MN cut is also in XSN so that needs to be bought at the same time as well. So if MN cut is 45% of the fee add the 10% to burn and actually it’s 55% of the trading fee is used to market buy XSN.

FRIENDLY WARNING TO ALL NEWFAGS

there has been an endless FUD campaign waged against XSN for years now. If you search the archives, you will see the same tired, baseless arguments copy and pasted again and again.

Stakenet (XSN) has now been listed on a tier 1 exchange, bitfinex. The 5th largest crypto exchange. These top exchanges have to perform a huge amount of due diligence and thorough research on any coin that wishes to get listed. Only if the coin meets their thorough criteria will they risk listing it.

In the case of bitfinex, owned by iFinex (the parent company of bitfinex and Tether), they are enormous influence on the crypto economy and under much scrutiny by law enforcement across the world as regulations tighten and governments look to restrict access to cryptocurrency. Bitfinex wouldn't risk listing anything even potentially worthy of litigation.

tldr; all FUD has been rendered obsolete by the bitfinex listing, you are being scammed by XSN whales who are trying to keep new investors out and suppress the price

Economically speaking it makes no sense for liquidity providers to come to the Stakenet dex when the useless masternodes hog so much of the trading fees.

Stakenet Dex was made for high frequency (off-chain), high volume bot trading while costing less then Uniswap (.2% vs .3% on Uniswap) and having no tx fees. You do your homework instead of lying. You had 3 years to accumulate

That's the cherry on top, isn't it?
Stakenet DEX is as fast at executing trades off an orderbook as a CEX. Once on L2, transfers are instant. It is interchain and natively compatible. It's non-custodial...
And on top of all that...
There's more incentive for makers to trade on it than elsewhere to reap in fees.
If that isn't bullish to anyone, I don't know what to tell you.

Wow, this thread doesn't have a single contributor on it that's not a shill. I can't tell if this is desperation or sheer ignorance.

1) The team exit scammed PoSW.
2) It's a fork of DASH, which is a fork of BTC, which is 10 year old tech
3) Because it's a fork of DASH, it's a UTXO chain that can't run smart contracts
>How cutting edge

>what is staking
You earn around 0.02 a day if you stake for only 100 xsn. If xsn is equal to 1-2 bucks, you get 15 cents a day. But what if xsn becomes $10 per coin and you have 300 xsn? That would equal to $1.60 in one day, enough to buy a cup of tea.

It's not FUD if it's true.

1) A picture is worth a 1000 words. See picture for PoSW scam.

2)It IS a fork of DASH. Anyone can look at the Github and confirm this.

3)DASH is a UTXO chain. Anyone familiar with DASH can tell you this. It can't run smart contracts because it's built on a limited UTXO chain.

4) I don't expect anyone here to be familiar with lightning because they likely invested their entire life savings into this scam, so I'll explain lightning. First of all, lightning at its core is meant to be a payment network. However, due to a myriad of factors, some obvious, it is not viable for that, particularly since now there are stable coin networks on Ethereum and other account based blockchain models. You can NEVER have a stable coin on Stakenet shitchain because it's a fork of DASH.

Regardless, if you want to transfer BTC for LTC via lightning, there is no XSN involved in that transaction. You simply need a lightning node, collateral in the coin that is being transferred and a counterparty with a lightning node and collateral in that coin. So, COIN not needed, Blockchain not needed.

Total garbage.

My dearest friend, 'tis with immense pleasure that I inform you that your letter has found safe travel to my destination and landed in my hands. However, this pleasure was fated to remain short lived and bittersweet, for I must also admit to you, regardless of what distress it may cause to you, knowing you went to great trouble to pen it and deliver it to me, that I in fact declined to open it and refused to read the message contained within. Surmising your intentions, there exists no doubt in my heart regarding your sincere worries for my financial well being, but alas your attempts to convince me to modify my investment strategies shall regretfully remain futile, as my stubbornness in this matter has indeed been sealed irrevocably and no other voice shall rock its imperturbable foundations. Allow me then to reiterate my will once more, and do your best to forever remember it for no change will follow: I shan't part ways with my beloved asset for it is my utmost belief that I have invested wisely and foresee infinite potential in its future, and therefore no other possession in this world shall change my decision, not even a mountain of gold! For my possessed asset is indeed fated to be worth more than any other riches in the world. We shan't speak of this no more. Sincerely yours, your beloved friend.

This. Very very thankful advice from some happy caricatures ITT, but I'm buying anyway. Reason? I just like the name of the project man. Stakenet has such a beautiful tone to it. It makes me feel good to keep XSNacks in my wallet.
>UTXO?
What language is this?
>DASH?
Is this some sort of marathon game for handicapped people?
>Fork? I eat with a spoon lol.
>Smart contracts?
Are they related to Alien intelligence that I hear so much about?

Who wouldn't need more coins wtf? What are you, a neet or something?

I mean dear internet people ITT, I essentially just enjoy looking at the percentage of my XSNacks in my top secret wallet mobile telephone app go up and down, I admit it. Can you fault me lol?
