Basically, because GME finished market hours above $320, and (see the table I linked) there were a huge number of $320 calls expiring, it means those calls have expired in the money. And that's why everyone here and in WSB were going apeshit and wanted it to finish high, they wanted it to finish above 320

Since those calls expired in the money (above 320), the holders of those calls will exercise them, for 100 shares at 320 for every contract. That means a lot more people holding GME shares - pushing the price up

Although there is no expiring for hedge funds to cover their shorts, they do pay higher interest the higher the share price is. And there seems to be a lot of covering left to do. This means the HFs will be paying much more interest including over the weekend

In summary
>more shares bought
>higher share prices
>more pressure for shorts to cover sooner (i.e. buy back shares)
>and this in turn pushes the share price up even futher

This won't affect the price much at all, ETFs have inherent value that is reflected in the NAV, basically the sum value of their holdings. With more assets they're able to buy more shares of whatever stock but you get the same portion of that as you had before. Outflows may decrease the popularity of people following their trades and affect the price that way but the other side of this is that their may be less people buying ahead of them like what is happening with the space stocks/ARKX and the smaller they are the easier it is to enter and exit positions as well as pick up small cap stocks. It's generally better to be small.

I also don't think this is ARK specific, it's more because people are going risk off. They're also leaving leveraged ETFs.
