New to crypto. What is your opinion about cardano?

It's the number one threat to Ethereum.
And a fucking good one too.
My portfolio is currently 100% ADA

It's one of the most useful crypto project.

>> No.27067456

I think it has a ton of potential but as an other poster said it's taking time. It has transparent peer review, a whole lot of contributors and alot of backing in Japan.

I'm currently 100% on ADA with about 600USD because binance finally went through. I'm gonna be getting as many as I can.

I also genuinely think that crypto ecosystems are the only thing worth investing in. In the future when companies such as Amazon are offering Blockchain as a service through AWS they're likely to offer a variety of platforms (Cardano, Ethereum)

I have a 10k bag, it's a longer term play that will likely pump end of Q1/Q2 and then in the later months of 2021. If you can get it for under 0.30-0.35 you'll be good, I think you have time before it goes above that.

Will probably end up rivalling eth at some point. Which could be a while, because as said, they dont rush things. Their roadmap for 2021 looks solid though, if they can keep to schedule. I also like their proposed implementation of how they want to do token deployment. It seems a lot safer for investors. Like, it will be harder to create a nothing shitcoin and just steal everyone's money, in theory there wont be liquidity drain exploits and such

Watch this anon's video. On kraken you literally just move it from your spot wallet to your staking wallet. It's like one or two buttons on the website, very simple. Kraken and Daedalus both enable ETH staking from what I understand

above link is the official IOHK page on daedalus. they link to the page below which is the official daedalus page.
it's best to always be careful what links you trust which is why I gave you the daedalus link from the IOHK page so you can check for yourself.

You should also consider getting a Hardware wallet to store all your crypto. Trezor is an open source software and open source hardware wallet - the most trustworthy IMO. you can use a trezor model T in conjunction with Daedalus to give a VERY secure way to store your crypto. you can also store bitcoin and all your Ethereum-based shitcoins on the same Hardware wallet. at least something to consider getting later on if not now.

If 70% ADA is staked then when graysale and Coinbase normies start buying the price will literally skyrocket because of low supply in the market?

>> No.27073433

>> No.27073465

>>27072990
that trezor is great, i have one as well but it isn't compatible with Daedalus, so if you want to store your ADA on it and stake from a hardware wallet the model T is the one you'd need unfortunately. it works great with Daedalus though and the peace of mind is worth it for me.

>> No.27073573

>>27073422
I should add though, you can unstake whenever basically instantly. The funds arent locked away, so no one is really prevented from selling

>> No.27073709

>>27073246
staked coins are never locked on Cardano so staked coins can be transferred to an exchange at any moment and sold. On the other hand people who are staking are probably likely to want to continue to do so going forward so there is probably less likelihood of them selling into a pump. It's a nice feature that you are never locked in and always have liquidity.
