Does anyone else have their epiphanies regarding Chainlink under the influence of psychoactive drugs?
It seems when I'm sober I can barely grasp the potential, almost like my insecurity is preventing me from ever being wealthy.

1. Their product is x600,000 more expensive than a normal API. Fact.

2. They've raised 32 million secretively in a one day ICO. Then have dumped at least another 100 million on the backs of their holders while disclosing NOTHING. Fact.

3. The oracle problem is NOT a problem. On-contract data is not a necessity and not at all important for most institutions including banking ones. Rather, strong APIs and secure blockchain data is. Fact.

4. Sergey has had many failed projects and used his Dad's money to start chainlink. He got his coworkers, convinced them to join him and leave the company and shilled on biz to a few anons on discord. Then hired pajeet shills to promote the token and make memes. Hence the creepy messiah memes and uncomfortable forced meme pepe ones.

5. Chainlink has accomplished NOTHING of note in almost three years of running. They claim fake partnerships (moab token is a case) and will pay for partnerships. Partnerships also mean NOTHING.

Honestly I've bought and sold LINK 3 times. I've made a profit every time. I think I should just hold it. First party oracle solutions and API3 at a $1.66 buy in really shook me.

However API3 is starting to look overvalued in comparison to LINK due to potential inaccuracies in first party data. Both seem like concurrent solutions and different approaches to the same problem.

You are absolutely right. API3 can never be standard for one simple fact - it is not trustless. Chainlink is the only truly trustless, decentralised oracle. And that is why it will be standard.

That said of course API3 is seems still a very good project for SPECIFIC use cases. It will rise in value but the singularity is not in the scope of this project. I'm sure you made decent gains off API3 already but LINK pumps randomly and hard. I'd consider buying in.

My posts sound like shiling, but like many here, I'm just drunk and love the project. A few biz anons buying/selling could never affect Link's price - and this is what the FUDders don't realise. They're a pathetic group of people.
