so robinhood's 'limited' buying means buying in the morning when the market manipulation is going to be heaviest and the price the highest, then they'll shut it off in the afternoon when shorters are trying to buy to close their positions and need the volume to drop

today was ridiculous but tomorrow is going to be even worse. not just the weak hands will be shaken, they're going to try and trigger people's stop losses in the double digit range. They don't even have to drop it that far, they just have to go low enough so their riskiest positions can be covered. It's going to be the most brazen market manipulation we've seen in the open since 2008 and it's not going to matter because they can get away with it.

Well, as far as I understand the situation, being a retard when it comes to finance, it sounds like in theory what should happen is infinite money glitch. GME has opened crazy high numbers in the past couple days, then immediately tanked when the halts/ladder attacks came in. I'm trusting reddit idiots on this one but it seems like $100 is probably a target for the short sellers because that will most likely set off a lot of people's stop losses. Safe bet is probably around 150-200 range.

But the afternoon is when positions have to close and the gamma squeeze is supposed start/happen so the price might jump around then, so you shouldn't sit on your hands if you want in. If today is any indication, you should wait for the first halt in trading, then put in a buy order at whatever number they crash it to right after. Waiting for the ABSOLUTE bottom is difficult to predict because it's dependent on if they can trigger panic selling or not. You're probably best off splitting the difference, a lot of people would kill to buy in at 200 now.

Not all of the outstanding shorts will expire this week. Only some and those were likely closed for lower losses due to all the shenanigans they pulled today. The new shorts they know people won't hold longer enough, prisoners dilemma and all.

Still absurd they would open rig the game by forcing brokers to only sell/seize shares, short laddering and triggering halts. This behavor is unseen in what is supposed to be the world's best regulated stock market. It's penny stock behavior.
