I started in August and yeah it takes a long ass time to really wrap your head around it. It's such a fucking cool industry, especially if you're libertarian, enjoy finance and tech.

I'll get flack for it here but I watch a lot of youtube videos to stay up to date and to get my base knowledge. Coin Bureau and 99bitcoins have some playlists that are simply explanations of the foundational technology behind cryptocurrency. Start there and I follow some youtube guys that do daily videos. Elliotrades makes really good calls on new low cap coins (impossible to get in when he calls them cuz they instantly pump 100%) and altcoindaily has good short daily news videos. There's a ton more which you'll find.
