And I can understand that a lot of people today want to do the whole child free life thing, or at least think they do now, but there is a lot to consider there. Growing old is hard. Its terrifying. Dying is terrifying. To be in your 70s and 80s, alone, dealing with debilitating issues all on your own, its a nightmare. The cost of assisted living is fucking extreme as well.
Not to sound like too much of a sociopath but children are something of a retirement plan in a way if you raise them right.
