In fairness I should clarify further, but the US market is probably better for long term investing than the UK market (at least right now).

The UK market is alright for day/swing trading and i've made some good gains swing trading UK penny stocks like GGP or TLW.

But if you want to invest for mid/long term I'd choose the US markets anyday and one of the blue chip stocks like TSLA/AAPL/AMZN etc.

That said, the US market is a massive bubble that will burst sooner or later, it can't grow forever. And with Biden in the White House I think the luck of investors on the American market may run out pretty soon...
