Alright folks. I’ll explain what really happened in non-trolling terms. Discord is going to be in a lot of trouble now for bribery charges.

I have spoken to a Discord employee (will not post screenshots or the username though to protect the confidentiality of the person) and they said r/wallstreetbets was banned because of a fraud investigation going on. As such, they were also paid a certain and a significant amount by a certain company (or companies) to stay silent and ban wsb from Discord. They were not banned for hate speech and other random reasons. That is just a pretense and a lie they’re selling to cater to the liberals, obviously. It’s a scary lie too.

This happened around 6:40 EST, while at the same time GME also dropped significantly. The correlation cannot be more obvious than before, as Discord was paid a huge amount for this to happen.

What’s next? I suppose this post is going to be removed for “spreading misinformation”. For the mods or some Discord employee to remove my post, ask yourself this. Are you going to keep working/supporting a company that just committed fraud and bribery to ban a server that was just having fun, attacking these disgusting rich hedge fund managers destroying many different companies?

Real talk, if you actually did this and are worried come tomorrow here is what you do to get out at a profit.

sell the 350 strike call tomorrow expiring the day after. It will lower the cost basis on the stock by 80-90$ per share depending on where you can execute the trade. that will take some pressure off you financially with that 800-900 in credit from selling a call against the stock.

Possible outcomes: Either you are into GME for well under 300 next week if come Friday it closes below 350 and the call expires worthless or it gets called away at the 350 strike day after tomorrow with you making the 80-90$ profit on the call you sold.

Only catch is you need to have traded in round lots for this and I kinda doubt you bought 100 shares of GME @350 or I’d hope you would know what you were doing and not have to make this thread.

one reason I almost always trade 100 lots of stock, it’s the standard order size cause it pairs with options and you can use options to alter trades, mitigate risk and make money with the stock going nowhere or even against you.

Well since they were shorting something like 109% of available stock (so technically not possible without accounting trickery), I can't imagine the price going anywhere but up. Supply/demand, except the demand is suddenly much more than available supply. Unless there's some other trickery afoot. That said, I think I'm going to hold until Monday morning. I hear robinhood is especially bad at this. Their trade shop commonly takes market orders buys the stock several cents lower and fills the client several cents higher causing delays in fills and bad prices. They all do this with limit orders but they must fill you at the price you set is the difference. Maybe they just won’t fill you if they can’t scalp some shekels off your trade.
