I bought small positions in these companies because I have the firm belief that the stock market will correct itself in the next few months. So my small position in AG was more as a hedge against microcaps faltering (looks like it's doing its job here).

Buying SLV does nothing if they're just buying paper. It forces the leverage higher but that doesn't do anything except make some accountants nervous if the physical delivery demand stays flat. Which it will, since nobody on reddit is gonna take physical delivery from SLV.

You either need to invest in an allocated ETF, where they will go and purchase on your behalf, or get physical yourself.
