What I think is happening is the equivalent of a type of bankruptcy where the operating company will remain in tact but the share value of the hedge funds will be wiped out.

What I really think is happening is the hedge fund managers fearing their stock holders will sue the fuck out of them for naked shorting, and press charges on them on the top of that. Why the fuck are firms bailing them out when they're likely in the hole for criminal activities?
