Deep throating freedom edition

-- Robinhood FAQs --
- VISIT THE WEBSITE FIRST DAMMIT!! - www.robinhood.com

> How is it free?
"People" invest your settled funds when you're not using them, just like banks.

> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.

> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.

> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, why?
Robinhood graphs are shit and only show you an average, not true real-time prices. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.

> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
Real brokers, like TDAmeritrade's thinkorswim. Otherwise you should be using tradingview.com, stockcharts.com, finviz.com, or a non-pile-of-shit for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.

That’s it. I’m sick of all this “Masterwork Bastard Sword” bullshit that’s going on in the d20 system right now. Katanas deserve much better than that. Much, much better than that.
I should know what I’m talking about. I myself commissioned a genuine katana in Japan for 2,400,000 Yen (that’s about $20,000) and have been practicing with it for almost 2 years now. I can even cut slabs of solid steel with my katana.
Japanese smiths spend years working on a single katana and fold it up to a million times to produce the finest blades known to mankind.
Katanas are thrice as sharp as European swords and thrice as hard for that matter too. Anything a longsword can cut through, a katana can cut through better. I’m pretty sure a katana could easily bisect a knight wearing full plate with a simple vertical slash.
Ever wonder why medieval Europe never bothered conquering Japan? That’s right, they were too scared to fight the disciplined Samurai and their katanas of destruction. Even in World War II, American soldiers targeted the men with the katanas first because their killing power was feared and respected.
So what am I saying? Katanas are simply the best sword that the world has ever seen, and thus, require better stats in the d20 system. Here is the stat block I propose for Katanas:
(One-Handed Exotic Weapon) 1d12 Damage 19-20 x4 Crit +2 to hit and damage Counts as Masterwork
(Two-Handed Exotic Weapon) 2d10 Damage 17-20 x4 Crit +5 to hit and damage Counts as Masterwork
Now that seems a lot more representative of the cutting power of Katanas in real life, don’t you think?
tl;dr = Katanas need to do more damage in d20, see my new stat block.

No moderators here. This is a colorful lawless swamp, much like Florida, in the scam/shill containment board.

Anyone here like FLXN or OCUL? I particularly like FLXN, it'd be a stock I'd be proud to baghold. Both are the archtypical niche pharma company with only one product waiting for FDA approval then a buy-out. FLXN is worth untold billions and are oversold because of a minor restructuring scandal.

Yeah they are more nuanced but well worth the time invested to learn them.

Stock is just up or down, so anything is more complicated that that. If you're really interested in learning to trade actively then Tastytrade is the place to look at. They are completely about the retail investor. Cheapest fees in the industry. Sure Robin hood is free but you can only buy long stock, and there are delays with access to your funds. Don't get me wrong I would have used Robinhood if it was available in my country but Tastytrade is a whole different level. They run live shows all day every day while the markets are open. https://www.tastytrade.com/tt/live

One of the greeks with options is Theta. When you sell options you have theta decay on your side. If you sell options out of the money the market has to come and get you. That means that when the stock price just sits there doing nothing, Theta decay is on your side and every day that passes you are earning money. So for example you could sell an out-of-the-money put-spread well below the stock price and the stock has to fall and breach your stock price. Every day that doesn't happen, you're making money from theta decay. The same with out-of-the-money call-spreads. And there's no reason you can't sell both a call spread and a put spread at the same time and make it an iron-condor. Defined risk. and every day the stock stays the same you make money.

Pretty relaxing desu.

I should know what I’m talking about. I myself commissioned a genuine katana in Japan for 2,400,000 Yen (that’s about $20,000) and have been practicing with it for almost 2 years now. I can even cut slabs of solid steel with my katana.

500 is fine. You're investing in meme stocks that have no chance of success or are past their pump and dump phase. If I were you I'd sell off most of them. Dump it to something that has a future. Whats the story for ANY of those companies? I bet you know nothing about them. Invest in shit you know, AMD is on a downward trend lately, I'd dump all those stocks you have and scope them out on Wednesday and get in while it's in the 11-12 range. Once Earnings hits that thing will fly up. Chasing the 50% spikes is going to fuck you. Someone posted it as a joke in another thread but 1% a day equals 365% gains at the end of the year. Be slow and deliberate with your money. Patience is what gets you the lambo, not meme crypto or moon shot stocks. You're not just trying to make money, more important is not LOSING money.

1% a day does NOT equal 365% gains a year. 1% a day equals ((1.01)^365 -1)% which is 3678% gains. Compounding bro

Honestly no idea what I'm doing with the other two. First one was because I wanted something biomed, the other is because the price was like 20 cents a share and wanted to put my other 8 dollars into anything. So yes, you're right on those two.

It won't. Q2 earnings includes Ryzen 5, but it hasn't sold so much to earn a big boost. Miners have bought practically all AMD cards, so I don't know about that. You have to be wary on what's coming out later. They have incredibly good die yields and if their server line delivers, then Intel will bleed hard. Their $4k parts are competing with Intel's $10K parts and they can price it even lower but chose not to. Look at Intel's damage control when AMD announced Threadripper, they're worried and are butchering their really expensive Xeon line throwing some of it to the HEDT line just to compete there.

Well Ford is good for dividend but their stock is dead money. It hardly moves up or down, which is good for old people who want dividends. I'd try avoiding most of those businesses that were around in the beginning of the 20th century. They tend to not move much and aren't "growing" at a frenzied rate that will cause their stock to go up.
