GME technically fits the pattern although the DD was mediocre at best.
WKHS was great. DKNG was OK. I can't remember many other good DDs, but so long as you follow the pattern it's usually safe, even when the DD isn't THAT good.

That's not true. That money doesn't have to go into the stock. If no one wants to sell below that price tomorrow then this will be the new share price without any money going into it at all.
