This "squeeze" is never going to end unless all current short holders are call margin called within the same trading day.

Every short that covered so far got replaced by a new short. Once GME starts reaching $200+ is when shit actually starts getting serious for the broader market because multiple firms/banks could be at risk of needing bailouts if the clients they lended to can't fully cover their margin calls.
