how the fuck do I make money in stocks? everything I ever buy tanks and never recovers. I have no idea how people turn $5000 into $50,000 in a year without just blind fucking luck.
What do I need to do to be more proficient?

Yes you do, I got Ifnex stonks at 1$ per share and sold them for 16$ per share. Almost as good gains that I had on Btc, Eth, Fleta and Dot

Because of the increased popularity of no-fees e-traders like Robinhood and Ameritrade, stonks are more and more like crypto

*note: this applies to flavor of the week memestocks like how green tech initiatives will pump green shit or legalization of weed will pump weed, blue chips will grow very slowly and consistently over time.

Consistency in trading is better than one time massive gains.

If you trade $3,000 for 30% and recirculate the profits for 52 times, you end up with more than a 2 billion.

For a baseground: $1,000 traded for 5% twice is greater than $1,000 traded for 10%.

This is what most people do not see, they set their target sell data at a certain percentage, excluding tax and fees instead of setting their target at a number of trades per time frame and ultimately lose net.

For every one person who turns 5k into 50k there are 10 idiots like you who lose it all. The stock market isn't the place to get rich quick. Buys it's a great place to earn 7% per year which adds up over your lifetime lol. Just buy reasonable companies you know and trust to be around for the longhaul such as MCD, XOM, of any real life business you frequent often. Now if you want to gamble on the stock market I'd suggest GME. It's either pumping up 300% or dumping

I’m realizing it’s best to just swing trade probably. Have a target roi and sell when you hit it. I’d recommend ARKK and ARKG if you just want steady gains though

Yeah if you go for a strategy that goes for 10x per year then you'll go broke. 25% per year is enough to be rich if youre young/have >100k starting money.
