basically long story short is, a big part of the Great Reset thing that's going on right now is the switchover to an economy based around digital money. What's going to happen is a bunch of digital currencies backed by central banks will start to get used, because our current system is slow and expensive and the powerful people in charge of the banks want to be able to see what people do with their money.

The trouble is, it's complicated for all these currencies to trade with each other, so the idea is that Ripple will be a neutral bridge asset- instead of Japanese Yen trading with Swaziland Biltong-Bucks, which would mean that Swaziland banks would need Yen (and about 200 other currencies), they will both send their money to XRP and then receive their money accordingly. This frees up a bunch of money and makes the process much faster and cheaper.

XRP is the native token of the XRP Ledger, which is the centerpiece of the coming financial system. Ripple is the only crypto company working with central banks, payment companies, and organizations like the IMF and WTO. the system has already been set up, it's just waiting to go live.

it's super cheap right now- like .25/coin- i am no financial advisor, I'm just some bum, but personally after hundreds of hours of research I am 100% sure that XRP is going to play a very big part in the digital economy and it will be worth much, much more than .25.

The US isn’t going anywhere for a good while.
And until then, you need the US banks involved or it won’t work. All Tier 1 banks are US. They lead the market and whatever they use instead would become the standard (if you assume they’re prevented from using XRP - they won’t just shrug and move on, they’d be incentivised to find something else to use).

Even if all the doomies wildest dreams come true and the US collapses: the rest of the world would collapse with it, so we’d be fucked regardless.

I’d disagree. For all the nonsense, XRP is just a bridge currency. That’s it. It’s not going to materially change finance in any way other than making settlements faster and freeing up capital from nostro/vostro accounts.
It won’t affect the US’ domination.
Whether more broadly the world moves to wean itself off of the US, making it more immune to a US collapse, is another matter. But that’s not to do with XRP.

I think I used the analogy before:
In XRP you have a technological marvel. A bridge spanning an uncrossable ocean. A perfect solution to a real world problem. That in itself is beautiful.
And yet you show this to some folks and for whatever reason, they need more. It’s not just a bridge, it’s actually a transformer and it’s got laser eyes and shoots rockets and shit, and it’s also actually a dinosaur transformer sent by god because why not

You’re past a bridge currency and into reserve currencies. The dollar is a global reserve based in large part on the strength (economic and military) sitting behind it. Those things provide a degree of comfort that the currency won’t collapse or that it will be protected from collapse. XRP doesn’t have an economy or military behind it. Making it at best a questionable choice for a reserve.
