If you want to play it safe own some Cameco, they are the biggest miner in the world in Saskatchewan and they pay a solid Divy. Divy went 5X during the last uranium bull market. I like UUUU, UR Energy, and Uranium Participation corp. Most based easiest play is Uranium Royalty Corp. Highest risk play is Standard Uranium or any Uranium explorer really.

I recall someone on PMG shilling Uranium so it did get me interested. Is that you? I know that there is a PDF report floating around talking about the increase in nulear power plants. The fact that Uranium is going to play a much bigger role in our everyday lives. I've also heard holding uranium is going ot be a very long term hold, as in 5 years before it becomes profitable. I'm hoping to put in some cash every month into these commodity stocks in the meantime. Thanks for bringing up Uranium stocks for other biz anons to see.

Miners need at least 50-60$ spot uranium to be profitable. As well, Cameco the biggest supplier uranium has been buying from the spot market in order to supply its customers their orders because COVID closed down their mines in Canuckistan, Saskatchewan. The supply chain shutdown coupled with the failures of clean energy to economically provide the needed power to address the ttargets of the paris climate accord will light a fire under the price of uranium. As well, general inflation can help us out too.

I lurked /pmg/ and was learning about mining stocks and traded some in my IRA. then I realized that commodities are probably a good thing to get into and stumbled upon uranium because I didn't hear it mentioned too much, and noticed as a whole, the entire uranium sector had started to kind of bottom out and was showing signs of a reversal.
Researched US based companies and found that I liked energy fuels because of their debt free/close to debt free position when I entered (listened to some YouTube interviews with their CEO, Chalmers, and he is from the industry himself and reminded me of Keith Neumeyer [sp?] from First Majestic) which is a silver miner I am balls deep in).
Plus they are getting into more rare earth elements, and had a huge uranium stockpile, and plus all this bipartisan support (not that we even have a bipartisan democracy, really) for it, and that Russia and China are the biggest in terms of demand growth, it just felt like a no brainer. I'm salty that I sold some shares when it hit $3 so I bought back in on this most recent dip some of them.

ok after a cursory look @ this company, it seems like they're an explorer, but from what I recall Pan Man (in /pmg/) mentioned that there is a lot of red tape in Canada with regards to uranium mining. now if they're approved by the government and can pull it off, it might be worth it, but I'd prefer to invest in something that I can see institutions investing in (which is why I think Energy Fuels still has a lot of room to run considering they only have about 23% institutional ownership at this point, and they just are exiting "penny stock" territory + have plenty of upgrades and options have good liquidity as well). I also don't like how in their investor pitch they add copy like:
>The greatest times to be a uranium investor are when a junior exploration company makes a major discovery or just prior to putting a mine into production. If you can do either of these during a bull market the results are amplified
and embedding trading view widgets onto their "Investors" section and their team looks kind of inexperienced + wanting to basically hop onto the uranium train. seems like a lot of hopium, unless I'm missing something?

>> No.26548041

>>26547487

If there is a real bullrun on Uranium, you'll be making it big with that much shares on 4U. I know its very rare to hear anyone talk about this at all since everyone is too focused on other trendy stocks. With the amount of good news coming out about nuclear plants, equipment seeing growth, I'm gonna do the same and put money cash into this market.

they start drilling in 5 days and the geologists on the team have been responsible for some major discoveries already in the Athabasca Basin. Definitely a gamble, but if they get good drill results this could move quick. To see an example of a stock which did the same check out ISO on the TSX. The basin is hot and investors are ready to invest at the first site of an ore body imo. But ya valid concerns.

Hello Uranium anon, I'm a novice uranium investor.

Invested in Cameco back in Sept, been DCA adding to my Uranium stockpile with the likes of URG and UUUU more recently.

FIND is like an overvalued version of STND they are both in the same region, but I mean if they hit uranium they will blow up.

FSY looks interesting. Good sized property in the only decent jursidiciton for mining in Africa. Decent as in not controlled by mercenaries killing local inhabitants like criminals. do not know much about BNM or DYLLF. The ETFs are solid for exposure to the sector.

>Lance is one of the largest US uranium projects at 53.6M lbs U308 compliant resource base with a license to produce up to 3M lb U308 P.A
>they have all the equipment for production ready to go and require very little Capex expenditure to restart production
>they are profitable with uranium at $41 lb, and with a small additional Capex investment they can be profitable at $31 lb
>management with lots of experience and previous success

I live on a nuclear powered grid. Not far from the nuclear plants. Previously I lived on a hydro powered grid. The difference is extremely noticeable, but scientists universally shy away from talking about it.

I find the nuclear grid much more conducive to productivity and getting ahead, but it definitely zaps your inner electricity and sort of makes people seem slightly more on edge.

Obviously. Firstly, this is the sketchiest space ever. The fine details of Uranium transfers and management are state secrets. The supply is artificially manipulated every 10-20 years IMO. Look at the 1970s or the 2000s. These bull runs are insane and go straight vertical. Also, solar is not renewable they are tearing apart the world looking for the minerals for it. Uranium on the otherhand is very selectively located around the earth and the supply is there it just needs to be at the right price so these countries mainly Russia, USA, Canada and Kazhakstan can further develop their production capacities. There will not be enough solar to power the upcoing UN 2030 AI smart death robot cities. Especially since the Paris Climate Accords are horribly stringent and basically the only way for these countries to meet those standards is through nuclear energy. Hydro causes flooding and fucks up water supplies. Sure uranium can be really bad but at least it can power society adequately unlike hydro or solar.
