I don't think so. I believe it's a lifetime ban. I got fucked by Google years ago because I was running a Blogger with ads and one day they just said I was banned without warning or explanation. Couple of years later I made another blog with a different account and it took them a couple of weeks to detect me and demonetize me again.
So you're saying there's no way the YT algo will ever recommend me unless my channel is monetized? I see random home videos some insignificant channel uploaded years ago suddenly explode. Does that mean they have enabled monetization prior?

small one off videos can make it how ever to live comfortably on yt ad sense you need 10k views a day minimum. very hard to do if yt isnt going to help spread them videos. why would they promote your video if they can do it for someone else who is. also yt have started doing this
