I just accepted a job offer. As we all know the housing market is crazy and despite having a decent salary for a recent grad I´ll be looking at sharing an apartment. What I wondered is that the norm these days or how do you guys do it?

Just asking since having roommates after college would've been seen as kinda "weird" back where I come from, especially considering dating.

my yuppie friends have roommates or live with their girlfriends.
i lived with roommates for a few years and wouldn't do it again. i'm back with mommy until i can afford my own place.
also you're still young as fuck. 22-25 are basically college 2.0. I was still going on massive drug and alcohol binges with the boys multiple nights a week during that time and sleeping on their sofa. if you were 35 then living with roommates would be weird but living with roommates at your age is fine.

In San Francisco or NYC or other super high COL cities this is very normal, and can be convenient if you run low on ketamine or sugar.

Fake. You will never live by yourself by anything more than choice

Housing is so expensive now, it's near impossible to live without roommates unless you like having no money leftover after rent, food, utilities, etc.
