Chainlink token dilution is directly driven by node operator fees being high
Node operator fees are high because they have to pay high eth gas prices as everything is done on chain
Once ocr crashes these eth fees, link dilution and sell pressure drops
At the same time grayscale opens the floodgates

Stop looking for tech improvements on Chainlink ffs. It's successful but it's simply an ON CHAIN data aggregator for blockchains. It's a few smart contracts and some off chain json parsers to extract data before you feed it to the aggregator smart contract. Just fucking read the source code, or the whitepaper, it's barely 10 pages about the tech, it's a simple concept.

Compiler version is just the version used to compile the smartcontract. Has nothing to do with Chainlink in this case. Version numbers don't go in the way you expect where 1.0.0 is the complete project. Rather it relates to the amount of change and compatiblity between versions. A change from 0.0.0 to 1.0.0 is big but a change from 0.7.6 to 0.7.7 is small. It allows developers to see at a glance how much has changed.

There Is ZERO way for an oracle smart contract to not perform aggregation on chain. ONE ENTITY CAN NOT BE TRUSTED TO LOAD SOME DATA ON ITS OWN.
You can aggregate off chain as much as you want, if you trust 1 node providing "offchain aggregated data" you are creating a single point of failure. So much for solving the oracle problem...
It's so fucking retarded I can't even. Sergey is literally shitting right in the mouth of its mindless followers. I respect that man so much

This system won't ever be used for critical data (in all smart contract chainlink usecase..) because it would just let the error rate become way too high. We both understand that.

No need to lie to ourselves, make literally 87k out of LINK since last year, but the team is just finding ways to justify continuous development and having massive amounts of Linkies. Again, gg to Sergey, he knows the game

LinkHound and ChainlinkGod had interesting conversation today about old contracts still being active because they act as an emergency mechanism if something goes wrong with the new contracts. So I don't think that's happening yet. The OCR transition will enable smaller deviation thresholds (0.01%), more frequent jobs though
