Well it's always impossible to know when is a good time to sell something. The best advice and golden rule is:

>never sell

You have some fixed income going into your port and you buy stocks and never sell, and keep buying more. However if you don't have loads of money coming in, or there's a good opportunity that it makes sense to shift your funds into, then it's more difficult to never sell

Sometimes you just need to take some profit if there's risk, or buy shares in something else. You have to try and judge whether it's worth the risk to of selling and moving on. It will feel shit when you sell and the stock keeps going up, but you have to live with that. That's the hardest thing about trading. You have to make yourself emotionally dead inside and live with missing moon missions.. like all the people who sold GME early for example
