>the eth I paid for is now worth 70 cents
>oh well
>delegate to two different indexers following the official guide posted by devs on twitter
>pay $20 on gas for each delegation, had to wait days until gas was at its lowest for this, most times gas is estimated at near $100 per operation
>one indexer's APY drops to 12%

>wait a week to see if it recovers
>it doesn't
>pay $20 on gas to undelegate, after waiting for cheap gas again
>tokens are frozen for 28 days, cant sell them, earn no interest
>for a fucking month
>finally unlocked
>pay $20 on gas to withdraw
>GRT still worth 50 cents

Meanwhile:
>buy some cake to fuck around bsc at 49 cents
>not really talked about on /biz/but ok
>stake on beefy for 700% APY
>pay 20 cents on gas
>cake is now worth $1.10
>pay 20 cents to withdraw and 20 cents to sell enough to cover my initial investment, mostly off the interest tokens alone

I wish I hadn't listened to /biz/.
Always buy what /biz/ ignores.
Always do the opposite of what /biz/ says.
Link was a happy little accident.

Sold everything yesterday, I'm tired of it not moving. If it's really
>muh Google of Blockchain
then we'll see it rise again and if it's going to moon as much as the shills claim (protip: it won't) then we're still early pre-$5. Until then, don't buy this shit. It's either a big nothingburger or we're waaaaay too early for this.

yeah... I'm not sure how I'm feeling about it now. The piece of shit Ethereum gas fees really do fuck it up.... Fine for people already deep in crypto I guess, but not much incentive or fun for people just starting/trying to get into it.

There will of course be a price tag on access to a blockchain ingestion service, but it won't be as bad as some people think
Put it into perspective by comparing with ETH - people already pay extortionate gas fees, and GRT certainly won't be on that level

Most tokens are going to be staked, and delegation/indexing gives insane ROI so (smart) people will not just sell GRT once it reaches value, they will just reap the staking rewards sell that... Maybe, because that would mean lowering your stake, which would mean lower rewards.
Also, 1% of tokens get burned with usage. Right now we burned more than 5 million tokens with ONE subgraph, after ONE MONTH of usage. That is absolutely insane. 10 billions supply is nothing.
It's going FAR above $10, especially if you think 5~10 years into a future where people will trample over each other to develop dapps to supplant current tech giants. You'll see many trying to be the decentralized X, where X is Ebay, Amazon, Facebook, Uber, Just Eat, or whatever the fuck else. And some of them will succeed.
And there is no doubt that most of these companies will use the graph, simply because not doing so would be an upfront cost that risks killing your business right then and there.

lmao no, the APY on these is barely on par with normie-tier stacking. Let's not even begin to talk about actual liquidity farming.
