i dont know exactly how theyd be able to do it, i was thinking in terms of stocks being halved.
but ethereum cant be allowed to function as a store of wealth the way it currently is, with the network model that it facilitates.
something has to change, either gas fees need to be reworked, or the ethereum token needs to be.

imagine if people could invest in gasoline, and you had to buy gas with the stock.
the higher the stick price went, the higher the price of gas would go, as gas prices went up and up the stock would become mote and mote valuable.
until you reach a point where gas stock was just too expensive to use on driving anywhere. the entire system comes to a halt, gas has become a store of wealth which os traded as money, and anything that used to run on gas has been rendered unusable.

COntracts is the magig word you missed....to transfer a house you need more gas...to transfer a car you need gas ETH is not for currency its for contracts.... even if i employ you... ill pay in ETH not in gas... every single year youll get the amount until the contract ends....
