Volume, it's the place to buy cheap before a coin hits a real exchange but you sure as fuck are never going to push 10 BTC of sales through a single coin there without crashing it, even if you spend weeks trying to get out slowly you will exert downward pressure.
This is why you never see PnDs on tiny exchanges, there isn't the volume for it.

Generally but not always. I have been making my money buying low volume coins of Bittrex and waiting for the inevitable pump because there a coin can easily go from 5 BTC volume a day to 2,000 BTC volume a day at the peak of a pump.
This lets me sell the 2-5 BTC I made without filling all buy orders.
