>Rubic is not a project you should be investing in long term. Reasons:

>1. Market cap: $16M !!! For a swap exchange that has a really shitty UX and product, cannot be even compared with 1inch (used by Rubic primarily and has stellar product with $172m market cap and 8b monthly volume). With 98.4m circulating supply, reaching $10 is not possible in a gazillion years looking at this shitty product.

>2. Usecase: Who the fuck wants to swap on Binance chain outside of Binance!? Also why the fuck would I use Rubic when I can easily get the best prices on 1inch, Uni or Metamask swap?!

>3. Contant shilling: Pajeets scamming this board just waiting for you poorfags to pump the price so that they can dump on you!

>4. Inexperienced tech: Their dev team/tech is really inexperienced compared with dev teams of the defi world. Check the dev teams at Sushi, Aave, 1inch, YFI, CRV, Uni, SNX. These guys dont even stand a chance.

>Worst part: The website was down for almost 2 hours which has happened 2-3 times so far (server load is a shitty excuse)! Imagine website going down during a swap.

>That being said, yes the constant shilling on biz might pump the price a bit maybe but this is never a safe long term hold, because either you might get rugpulled or whales might dump hard and the price would never recover and you would be holding these coins forever.

>So DYOR. There is no reason for you to use Rubic when there are literally 100x better products in the market. Oh and yes binance smart chain recently tweeted but that doesnt mean this coin is going to be listed on Binance, not atleast with this shitty product and dev team.

This pasta popped up today. I cannot tolerate the proliferation of such falsehoods. The next several posts will sytematically destroy these points, one at a time. Let's begin.

1. This point refutes itself. Rubic is a young DEX. Therefore it having a small market cap is irrelevant. Yes, there is competition in the DEX field. Rubic will grow to fill its niche and fill the needs that it is built to accomodate. Furthermore, a $10 valuation is hype that has not consistently pushed by serious anons.

2. Fundamental brainlet misunderstanding of the technicals.
>Binance Smart Chain enables the use of smart contracts without clogging up and slowing down the system. This new chain runs parallel to Binance Chain, and, in addition to smart contract functionality, is compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
>The objective of the chain’s design is to enhance the system’s scalability while retaining Binance Chain’s high throughput. BSC accomplishes this by adding the ability to use smart contracts for tokens into the Binance ecosystem without slowing down Binance Chain.
Easy to see why Rubic seeks to leverage the advantages of the Binance Smart Chain. The integration of this project is a fundamental piece of the plan to provide rapid, low cost swapping.

3. This is do mostly to hype. Consider the circumstances: It's green. It's a cube. The name is disyllabic, stressing the first syllable and terminating in a clean hard consonant. It's just fun to say. Rubic.

4. Blatant falsehood. The team worked on the MyWish platform, which allows streamlined implementaion of a suite of projects with very little technical work. MyWish is maintained and will be integrated into the Rubicsphere in the near future.

Worst part: A website going down on a working project means nothing. Many "finished" projects have been utterly demolished in hacks or fallen to critical failures. Ethereum was put down for a length of time by a dedicated ddos, and yet today thrives as the backbone of myriad projects.

So DYOR. Soon there will be no reson to use anything other than Rubic because it will be literally 100x better than any other products in the market. Oh and yes binance smart chain recently tweeted which means this coin is going to be listed on Binance, as this indicates a promising product and dev team.

This is a problem in any low cap investment. The difference with rubic is only that they have been consistent with working towards the roadmap goals and when the product is refined the whales won't constitute enough of the wallets to tank the price.
I got the team overlap from the rubic site. it is stated:
>Our team released several crypto projects such as:
>MyWish platform — the leading platform for Smart contracts builders for blockchains (NEO, Ethereum, TRON, EOS, RSK, and WAVES) supported by Tron, Binance, Neo, Okex

So let's be clear that your counterpoint to "inexperienced tech" is thrown out the window. The team is different. MyWish has a very strong team, Rubic has absolute barebones.

As for the point you cherry picked - you're completely right, it's a problem in any small cap. It is however a problem and shouldn't be ignored just because it's common. The risk has to be acknowledged, and people have to decide whether they want to take it.

And it is a large risk, whales could bring it down very, very low.

If people believe in the product they'll use it as an opportunity to buy more, it'll rid the artificial growth that /biz/ has induced.
But is people buying back in going to be enough to restore it back up to the nice ~$0.15 we're currently looking at? Or the $0.20 it'll probably push to tomorrow? I don't have the answer to that.

Okay, I'm glad you agree.

As for the team thing, check the team pages on both sites, and find one person other than Vlad who has been in both projects.

1. Vlad is the only one who is on both teams. This claim of the Rubic team being experienced is unbased - unless you can present us with something which suggests they do in fact have experience?

2. In fact... didn't they say they would update the GitHub repo in the AMA? I noticed they missed that question out from the Medium article. I also noticed it hasn't been updated. I hope they update it soon.

alright lets see. some of the devs have projects listed in the github arctic vault. Both have worked on crypto projects before. They look pretty young but i'm assuming they were tapped because they show promise. There's no reason to push to git until necessary. keeping work local and then committing later is what most devs do.

>> No.26401531

>>26401130
Prepare for wall of text...

That's true, I did notice that actually, for the most part, they have a solid track record. And yeah, they've got a staging environment which they commit to, so it does make a fair bit of sense why they haven't pushed to the main repo.

So we have 2 backend developers.

Alexandr Kelepko (backend developer) has no track record at all, which concerns me a bit

Daniil Svetlov (python backend developer) seems to have a relatively decent history. But like you say, he looks so young though, and the weight of the entire backend being on these two people? It's odd to me. Obviously Vlad didn't anticipate this level of growth.

Overall I do agree, and I personally think Vlad knows what he is doing and picked these guys for a reason. I don't think it's a massive issue. Keeping in mind it's a large scope project and it feels like there are very few resources allocated to it.

So it might be good to stop saying that these are the guys who worked on the previous MyWish project - it's simply not true. Though most people aren't going to (or don't have the knowledge) to check, so maybe saying that they did benefits Rubic organically.

It's all a bit of a coin flip whether this works out or not, and I hope it does.

>> No.26401665

>>26401531
Good points. It does remain to be seen. I'm confident in the project. I personally know 2 devs who hate working with github, so that's a possibility. Nonetheless, on the site it states that they worked on MyWish. I will try to get a question into the next ama about that.

>> No.26401720

>>26401665

>>26401665
Sounds good. Also they mentioned they would be open to a video AMA on the next one. Would be a massive boon for them if they go through with it. Maybe even get some video introductions for the team members.

As for them saying they worked on MyWish, that statement is true even if it's only Vlad who worked on MyWish. Personally I think it's just clever wording. That's standard marketing though, doesn't hurt credibility.
