You will originally only be able to stake LP tokens. It is not out yet we are all waiting for it to be released. Put them in the uniswap liquidity pool and forget about them. You should make your money back from rewards very very quickly. Then you can stake your rewards into the governance staking pool after it gets released.

This is how it is designed, im sure the price will hit $50 but you are fucking yourself if you just sit on your tokens and don't use them as intended. You can make a lot more than 8x if you do this because you will multiply your SDT several times over
