don't worry, nobody would trust you with that much money.

and if they did it's only because you've borrowed money before and paid it back. In fact if you want to gamble other people's money you have to win almost all the time. That's the caveat there. In short: The best rallies are in HATED assets. Uranium is hated, but has very clear supply and demand spaces. The current fleet demand is higher than supply. There is no shortage now because of reserves in Japan (as a result of shutting down their reactors) and Kazakhstan which doesn't want to sell it at these low prices. The calculus is simple and has zero to do with the future of nuclear. As an aside the growth of the global nuclear fleet is mostly in asia, especially China.
Uranium bear market has wiped out or mothballed most mines, and the junior space is small. Last uranium rally saw 100x returns on the handful of solvent juniors that had survived. Next rally won't be as dramatic because everyone remembers the last one but it will still be good returns.
I think the push into uranium has been a false start from over eager "get in early" investors. Uranium super cycle is probably 2-3 years away from now

Just like there is a difference between real diamonds and industrial diamonds now.

Even if it is chemically identical, you have chains of custody to establish origin. And genuine Earth Gold would probably just become even more valuable as it stops being mined locally.

Unless I take the sale price and re-invest that into another business and then I still pay 0 taxes until I finally cash out.

obviously 15% is a better tax rate than 50%. There is no motivation for saving money in business. The US pays you to put your money back into your own business or someone else's. This is capitalism. Where you're punished for taking money out, and paid for investing money back in.

now the smart jew is wondering what's the point? If you have to put all your money back into the business to avoid taxes, where's the reward?

and that's equally simple. If I'm dumping a million a year back into my business IT'S GROWING IN VALUE by a million a year or more if I'm any good at it. I own that business, so on paper my worth goes up by a million a year or more even while I don't make any money personally.

So now I go to the bank and show them I own businesses worth millions, and they lend me millions of dollars if I ask it. They earn interest on those dollars, AND I WRITE THAT INTEREST OFF ON MY TAXES. The interest is less than my tax rate, so I effectively pay taxes to the banks instead of the government, and I can spend as much money as I want on whatever. The business side has to receive more than me, but I can easily live like a king on half a million a year tax free.

this is why rich people always own businesses and business owners often get rich. It's a tax game. A credit game. A percents game.

yes, that was also OPEC and Russia's major blunder with fracking

small mines cost very little to start up, and the thousands of closed uranium mines were mostly very small operations.

also in the US at least uranium doesn't occur in hard rock mines mostly. It's mudstone, more like a gravel pit than a mine.

what you don't learn looking at dinosaur bones is that most of them are radioactive. They're found in uranium ores. They ARE uranium ores. Most dinosaurs in the world come from the US. Currently online nuclear power plants. New plants being built in China, India, UAE, and Russia. And the thing about these new plants is that they come online once they have secured years, even decades worth of inventory for the future. But it still doesn't matter. Just the currently online ones consume more uranium per year than is mined. It is a very simple equation here. The only thing that hasn't prevented a shortage are again, reserves in Japan and Kazakhstan.

I can answer this one! its trace uranium in the form of minerals like uraninite as well as other similar ores. It also happens with pyrite mineralization as well.

re-lithified with calcite or silica, sometimes other minerals.

but the residual iron, copper, gold, lead, even uranium snuck in. Current taphonomic theory holds that the bone is more porous than the surrounding sediments so it had more time to accumulate minerals. So while the surrounding mudstone might be relatively low in silica, iron, and uranium, the bones have time to concentrate it. Spongy. Trabecular bones with lots of vascularization. Plenty of room for minerals with a thick layer of periosteum to block out sediments and extraneous crap.

Upshot is skulls like the one I posted were found with a magnetometer or geiger counter because they're far more magnetic and radioactive than the matrix they fossilize in.

I have hundreds of thousands of dollars in the bank which I saved over many decades and I don't want to lose it. But I'm also terrified of gold. It seems risky and might just crash again like a few years ago. "The economy is going to collapse," heard it all before. President Trump built the greatest economy in history before Biden took over and even the pandemic might not be able to damage it so much that it collapses. Anyway, I threw a thousand in something called GLD which is digital gold. I didn't buy coins because somebody might steal them from me. I really hope that I don't lose my money in this investment. There are also gold back cryptocurrencies that allow you to hold gold by proxy in a vault (while also avoiding storage fees) that you can take physical delivery of or use a card that allows you to "spend it" like a debit card.

hes already begun on several of those points, but it appears too that it wont just be conservatives on his hit list now, many antifa and black block groups are suddenly being silenced on social media, as BLM and other groups have started mingling with conservative / right wing groups. It appears this is due to both parties seeking a common enemy and the government can not allow both sides radicals joining forces.

On a more PM related note, Biden has already stated that he wants to bolster the US's mining sector in regards to green energy, however it appears only select projects or companies will see any benefits from this.

I understand that sort of thesis, but in a currency crisis scenario, a winnowing and re-evaluation of what is truly valuable occurs. For instance, look at the difference between rent and food as a percentage of expenditure before weimar hyperinflation and after.
The thing is, if you're looking at commodities, they are all pretty good during a hyperinflationary crisis because they all go up. Some of them go up way more than others. Those others, basically die with the currency once the crisis is finished because the crisis entails a lot of complexity and infrastructure dying off because it can't be supported. correct.
what we're doing is taking the old warheads and placing them into new delivery systems. Because we've already mined enough uranium to wipe out the entire globe.

if we see increases it'll be countries like India and China or Israel that have nukes but haven't maxed out capacity, or in new nuclear nations.

but it takes an enormous amount of uranium to produce a single weapon, so that's the most likely bullcase I can imagine for the metal.

I don't have a crystal ball. I don't know what uranium might be used for in the future. But right now power plants aren't super popular and weapons could be.

I'm from /smg, from 2017-2018 I was accumulating a bunch of coins - mostly Mexican silver Libertads, Mexican gold Pesos, and Swiss and French gold Francs. I spent roughly $12k on purchasing these over about 2 years. Why? because I love gold and silver and probably am afflicted with the "Spanish Fever" that the founding father's condemned. I stopped because I was moving back to Europe and would no longer be getting paid in US dollars. My parents still live in USA so I left my collection with my dad who also collects. I recently got a job which is paying me in USD and I was going to start ramping up my purchases again, but all these coins are sold out now. I have my assumptions as to why there is a lot more demand for gold and silver, but as someone who as been out of this market for a few years I would like to know WHEN did this happen? Also, anybody have any recommendations as to how I can transport my gold and silver to my EU home? No coins have their use as safe investments. Stocks can go to zero but your metals will always be there for you, storing value and work. Also if metals crash your physical will likely be worth more than the spot prices too. Mining stocks are for gains but if you're buying juniors instead of majors I'd advice you to educate yourself on the industry as they are volatile and risky penny stocks. PHYS to my knowledge is an ETF that holds gold so that's a way to get exposure to metals but it's an ETF so I don't touch that. Dolly Varden is a relatively safe junior mining company that is developing silver projects in BC. The company might be bought by Hecla, a major, later down the line. Don Durrett is just some guy who talks about mining stocks, I don't know anything about him or anybody else really since I just do my own research by myself for the most part.

There are hundreds of juniors to choose from and plenty of them have great potential. Again I advice you to learn about the industry since I don't like telling people what to buy -- I don't give financial advice and you shouldn't take financial advice from nobodies online. Learn and make your own decisions. I've collected some very useful sources for learning about investing in mining companies, check the links for these sources at https://pastebin.pl/view/66733488

Interesting thing is that the physical price stayed the same and premiums rose as the price fell below because dealers couldn't afford to sell for a loss. People were suspicious of what was going on with the prices and thought that something might happen to the silver market that would make the march crash the last chance to get silver before a permanent shortage because of either unprofitability for miners and US mints or COMEX shenanigans fucking with the price and keeping it low deterring further investment and dealers going out of business because nobody buys when they think it'll just keep crashing. It depends on how you look at the numbers. For example reduced carbon mandate - nuclear is a decent option and would require higher mining output. But if you believe the mandate could be met with wind and solar then you don’t need nuclear at all. It’s FUD on all sides and the way it will go isn’t written yet. There are exciting developments in small modular reactors that could be bullish for nuclear. Fusion would make nuclear completely obsolete but is probably 50-100 years away. It’s not just about being smart or dumb there’s too much up in the air to know.

Thanks for the explanation. I didn't consider the fact that we have a refueling requirement of existing reactors and didn't know supply was that short.

>>26402751

SpaceX spent 10 years to perfect their self-landing booster rockets, and nearly 20 years to send the first astronauts into space.

The timelines for mining Psyche 16 or any of the Asteroid Belt bodies is decades at a minimum. For starters it will take years to even get a probe there; most likely the first one will land in 2026 to observe it and figure out what it's made of. Then, factor in the amount of time and resources, and the risks associated with capturing the 16th largest object in the solar system and send it barreling towards Earth to enter a stable orbit so that mining it is actually commercially viable - because it sure won't be where it is now unless we establish a Mars colony - and you start to understand the gargantuan size of the effort.

Plus, if the thing is also entirely made of gold, and will crash the price of gold and other precious metals with so much easy and accessible supply... why mine it? The demand for gold as an industrial metal is small, and if there is a boom in the requirements for it due to a new technology we still have plenty of it that can be mined right here on Earth.

It's an exciting thing to think about, but it won't affect the price of precious metals for decades to come. I'll worry about it when it's rational to do so.

10 ASEs compared to a 10oz bar
32 ASEs compared to kilo bar
makes me favour the bars in some ways for easier storage and transport of larger amounts
ASEs still seem highly favourable for selling, barter and trade of various smaller denominations including low value everday essentials

It depends on how many foreclosures happen as a result of defaults in rents and mortgages due to Covid. After 2008 the markets crabbed for a while and you could get very cheap fixer-uppers that nowadays are worth 2 to 5 times their lows, at least in my market.

2014-2015 was still full of deals, so if we have another crash or major influx of foreclosed homes driving the price of RE down, I'll be liquidating some of my PMs to purchase more property. Right now I'm doing the complete opposite.

>>26413919
Rural land probably won't get much cheaper than it already is unless we enter a major depression. Every market will be different but the bubble is mostly concentrated around major population centers and surrounding cities.

What are you even on about? How is a tech that’s meant to solve many problems of reactors like a shitcoin? Of course it doesnt solve the biggest problem which is indefinite storage of waste material. And I never said fusion uses uranium. I said it makes fission obsolete which was to imply uranium would not be needed. And yes it is FUD when it’s a heavily regulated and controversial industry. Nuclear energy is heavily politicized as is wind and solar.

Yeah I misread the fusion part. About the shitcoin part, I said it's like that because you said the small modular reactors 'could' be bullish for nuclear, which isn't much comfort with all the regulatory uncertainty and controversy. I personally wouldn't want to invest in something so heavily dependent on the slow moving and inefficient gears of global bureaucracy to turn in just the right way to make a return on my investment.

Pretty interesting TA analysis of Gold, Silver, BTC and Inflation here. I don't claim to understand the more technical aspects of it, but from what I do understand it seems like everything lines up for an extremely bullish case for PMs.
But his time scales are much longer than I thought, but it probably only factors the trend and not things that can affect the trend.

Wise words. Remember that bullshitting and pilpul are bred from generations of these kikes since the beginning of time and that they excel in the jew sport of pilpul in the Jewish arena called the courtroom and (((legal))) system in front of the Jewish referees, or judges. You obviously want the most kiked law firm you can find and the name should read like a tel aviv phone book if you want to win

Jackson "hating" Injuns was a myth. He moved them past the Mississippi because he thought that was the only way to prevent them from being permanently killed off and had a native American adopted son. He'd probably slap someone for saying dirty injuns too. Also he wasn't opposed to banks but felt the banks in power were corrupt and controlled by people who's interests ran counter to US policy.

Is there anything more based than old silver? It's silver you can get under spot, it's silver on sale! Its worth its weight in gold (silver) but also has a numismatic premium, both increasing every year. It holds its value whether the economy is booming or the world is burning. They're antiques, art and physical history. Untaxable, untraceable, inflation proof and cant be devalued. Truly, the real currency of the world.
