I collect credit/credit cards. Already have a $125,000 line of credit. Its pretty comfy knowing I can blow all of it in a grand finale if I ever off myself. It's not just about qualifying for loans

I've never missed a payment or had debt other than my mortgage but at least some of my scores (plural because you have like twenty different scores between the three major credit bureaus alone nowadays) are below 750 around the 720 range with listed negatived of oldest line of credit being not very old and a large number of hard credit checks that won't fall off until another two years because I didn't realize every major non-secured credit card rejects you if you apply before having six months of credit history and I applied to like six of them all at once when I was trying to "build credit" to get out of my "no credit" status in preparation for when I bought my home.

So you're 19 years old with an 815 credit score and 125k in credit. Guessing all those hard inquiries just fell off in record time. Did you start building credit out the womb as well?

Anyone who simply pays bills and is not up their eyeballs in debt is 750+.

Plus, anything above 740 is treated the same and qualifies for zero points on a mortgage. So if you have a 740 or 850 it literally makes 0 difference.

Its more like a non-retarded score. Anyone who is not retarded has 750+. Congratulations, you're not retarded.

I’ve never been in a position where I felt like I needed one, but this thread encouraged me to apply for one. Worst case scenario, I have a line of credit that’ll never be used.
