It feels weird knowing that I'm only 21 and doing better financially than 99% of people between 18 and 44. I don't feel wealthy by any means, my net worth is a merely $84k, and yet this puts me in a better position than 99% of people due to how bad people are with managing and using their money.

A friend bragged about his new iPhone and its 3 cameras a few days ago in a group chat I'm in, so I guess that explains it all. My phone is 4 years old now.

How is the average net worth between the ages 18-24 $28,000? Aren't most young adults in significant debt?

In one year I should have 200k which will allow me to use 15-20k of it to mortgage a house. I will be a homeowner at 22 and have lots of money to continue investing and getting passive income while I also get a job in the AI sector, which should put my income at ~$10,000/year from investments, $30,000-60,000 from job. Always knew I'm a winner since I was little, and now the numbers back it up.

And I didn't even account for my crypto folio doing a 2-3x in the next few years. So yeah, 2 houses, a well paid job, passive income. Sounds good, 1% style baby

I would never show off my wealth and skills irl so I'm doing it here instead. I don't look at them as less because of how much money they don't have, unless they complain about money after buying the latest crap phones.

you’re in a good spot but from the way you’re speaking about yourself, sounds like you just have very stupid friends and you compare yourself to them alone, boosting your own ego. meanwhile, I have a new phone with 3 cameras AND still greater net worth and salary than you at your same age, yet I feel behind. why? because I’m an a friend circle of winners. do better, anon.

I work for myself doing online gigs for $3500-4500/month. I get paid in crypto so I don't pay tax on it, using Bitrefill for groceries and clothing when needed. I don't know how long I can do this which is the reason I'm studying Python and getting into AI now.

I'm happy for you anon. I do need to get better, I am aware of that. That's the reason I decided to get into the tech sector instead of just staying in my current position. I could live off passive income in a year or two but I know for a fact it won't make me happy. I need more than financial freedom. I have big goals not just for me but for society. I want to create and improve.

>>26346019
I already have most but soon I'll have everything.

How do you have such a high salary and net worth at such a young age if you don’t mind me asking? I’m only a year younger than both of you so I was wondering if there’s ways for me to catch up

>> No.26347002

>>26346489
Tried many things until one worked. Took risks with no emotion. You could say it was luck or determination, probably both.
My salary is not sustainable, this gig can end in 5 months. I'm just milking it as long as I can while preparing my plan B (AI) in the background. Always have a plan B.

>> No.26347053

>>26346489
Also, there's no "catching up". Everyone has different goals, most people don't need to be millionaires. What matters the most is putting yourself in a position where you're 100% financially secure even if you were left with no job. That's not hard to achieve, most people don't due to extensive consumption and 0 investing.

It's not too late to turn your life around. 28 is still quite young, you can still tap into your potential. Don't waste your years away on an underwater basketweaving imageboard.
