RSR is a project hostile to US interest. The biggest fear the government has is using crypto as a funneling tool for crime and hostile foreign nations.
RSR project is built around getting a stable token for anyone who wants it. And RSR's stated long-term goal is to no longer peg to the USD, but replace the USD; extremely unlikely.

I don't see this as a long-term future hold. But short-term RSR will pump like crazy this bullrun. I wouldn't worry too much about FUD in the short term.

In general, the government is spooked as fuck about crypto because it will stop the U.S. government from using their new favorite tool to destroy nations, i.e. secondary sanctions.
