It cant be a random occurrance, but it definitely doesnt point to any flaw in bitcoin, this is expected to happen and thats why you wait for several confirmations for bigger transactions

it's not a big deal at all. if you sign multiple tx-es for a single output you don't actually know which one will be confirmed.

you would think the one with the highest fee right? that's the common theory.but in this case the one with the lowest fee got through.

this makes attempting double spending even more futile if anything.
