They get shaken out by the first rumor of regulation, and the rumor isn't even new since politicians have been parroting the same "muh terrorist money" line for fucking years. If you were on /g/ in 2009, it was filled with fudders saying buying bitcoin was stupid because it was "dirt" money only used in black market deals and surely would get fucked by regulation.

THIS FUD HAS BEEN USED SINCE BITCOIN'S DAWN. But newfags and boomers who don't even know how to open PDFs, much less the tech behind bitcoin, are easily fucking scared. Well, thankfully, the only thing they invest in is bitcoin because that's what the news tells them.
