LINK is the antithesis to BTC. Chainlink seeks to assimilate the current system to the blockchain world of technology. On the other hand Bitcoin at its core seeks to provide a monetary system that is separate from the current system. So when Bitcoin is in a bear market that means there is less faith in uprooting the current system which is bullish for Chainlink.
