So it's just something I wanted to tell you guys. Not super important probably.

I met pic related at one of blockchain hackathons 3 years ago and mingled a bit. He's a pretty cool and down to earth guy, at the time he was the CEO of mywish (he still is). We stayed connected on linkedin but never actually talked, although there was always some indirect interaction like following each other.

Anyway, when I saw Rubic mentioned in the same paragraph as mywish on /biz/, I was like wtf. Because I somehow missed that he started Rubic too. Also, I didn't believe it at first, but when I checked it, I was immediately convinced it was legit and went straight to uniswap to get the cubes.

So something else for you to consider: I got in pretty early into defi (like a lot of you here I believe) and I know many devs in the defi space. And there's quite a bit of Russian presence in defi and blockchain in general. Most are successfull and accomplished devs and entrepreneurs.

1inch guys — Russians to the point of not even being able to properly speak English.
aave — the founder is a Finn but his last name is Russian.
the defiprime founder is Russian.
Sergey is Russian.
Vitalik is Russian.

I myself am Russian living in Singapore. And I work in a legit blockchain company here.

So yeah idk I felt like giving you a bit of a bigger picture seeing the Rubic threads here.
