Who's done this meme before? I did it 5 years ago when I was poor for almost a year but I never had a nice setup, just a shitty empty van with a bed in it and I used a 24 hour gym and the parking lot and Walmart parking lots as my home and worked as a cook. Now I'm 27 and have almost a million in assets and have a decent apartment but I've kind of been feeling an itch to get rid of the apartment and go back to living in van. I just realized I was a lot happier back then.

I did it for a few years and loved every minute of it...showers at the gym...didn't have any kind of interior set up besides water and piss bottles, a suitcase under the seat, and a clothes hamper, cruised the coast and smoked hella weed, had such a clear head. Breathing ocean air at night...I want to go back.

I did it about 5 years ago. Now I'm a self-made millionaire, bought a ranch outright in AZ. Life is good.

What up, my niggas

I know what you mean. Maybe it's just nostalgia but if I think back to those days I felt like life was more interesting, the job was kind of shitty and stressful but I probably would have 0 social skills if weren't for working in restaurants. The past year was like being in a coma in comparison.

It sucks. I didn’t have a fancy van with a shower and all that, I barely fit in the back. Pissed in waterbottles, got crept up on in Walmart parking lots. May go back to it who knows

Yeah I had nothing fancy in the van either just curtains and a futon. I just remembered going out to it after a lunch rush and laying there with the doors open staring at the clouds. kino af. I had like 20k in savings too so I just viewed working as a challenge, I could just drive off to the next town if I got tired of it. So I was poor compared to now but I was actually rich compared to all the people with student debt working at the restaurant.

The three years I spent in this campervan were the best of my life. Went all over the country, to every national park spending weeks at a time, backpacking for miles into the middle of nowhere to a secluded mountain lake and eat some mushrooms. Yellowstone, glacier, Washington rainforest, up into Canada fuck it was beautiful. I got a German shepherd puppy when I started so I had a companion the whole time. Covid came and I decided to head home and chill out while everything is closed but ill get back out once link is over 200. 15k link is so comfy. Going travel for years. Sorry for the blog post I'm stoned
