Should I hold USDT or explore other options?
I'm always taking profit in trades when I either 2x/3x. I leave it in stable coins and wait for dips in some Bluechips. I primarily use Uniswap to go in out of stablecoins. No CEX. What do you folks recommend?

>> No.26289699

Safest bet is to stay away from USDT, use USDC.

I really like OUSD. It's apy rn is really good. You just need to hold it in you wallet and earn a yield.

>> No.26289784

USDT isn't going anyway. Just hold it. The most liquid out of all.

Yep I hold quite a lot of USDT and don't know the answer either. In theory the most safe thing would be DAI as it's completely trustless, USDC is dogshit.

If it turns out to be true and everything crashes I am doubtful as to whether DAI is even safe too, as it's backed by ERC-20 tokens.

I suppose though, that if things really crash it could be possible that everything just flows back into BTC/Eth and new trading pairs using DAI/USDC will be used on exchanges and everyone holding Tether will be cucked.

>>26289699
USDC is just as bad.

>>26289784
As a large USDT holder I am not too sure this is true.

OUSD GUYS!!! This is a no brainer. You get a yield by doing nothing.

Yes and they relaunched, paying back those affected by the exploit with insurance coverage this time around.

Pick up some Dai. safest and completely decentralized.

What's the yield amount? what do you mean by doing nothing? Is the stable coin for Origin Protocol?

i HOLD usdt and ignore the FUD. Nothing to worry about.

>> No.26292807

>>26292411
I believe APY is 65% which is much more than what the other stable coins are offering. Also, just use a self hosted wallet like metamask and you're golden.

is it hard to hold USDC instead?
literally a no brainer

They still try to bring new retards for their scam pools and bases systems

>> No.26293055

>>26289450
Just use literally anything else. USDC is audited so if you trust a company that's the way to go. DAI is the biggest decentralized one

USDC could also freeze your account. I don't trust coinbase. I vote dai.

>> No.26293280

I would suggest looking into perhaps hold OUSD, HIGH APY, Its backed by a few different stable coins, like Dai, USDC and USDT. Also I heard OUSD yield maybe be buying back their govenance token OGN

it's been mentioned a few times on this thread. I'm intrigued by the yield earning part which is a win win plus I have insurance coverage. hmmm.. best sounding so far. I just have to do research on the team. I know of OGN and know they've been a round for a while so that is a bit impressive to me. May throw half my stable coin stack there and see what happens. Def want out of USDT so that I can sleep at night.

I'm a huge OGN fan. They're all pretty competent. Just look at their backgrounds. I think with OUSD you should be fine. The OGN buy back would be huge with OUSD. HMMMM.

Big fan of OUSD. if you opt not to go with OUSD, use DAI. Stay away from both USDT and USDC.

>> No.26294301

Few know, but you can trade your tokens not against USDT but against OUSD on Uniswap.

By doing this you always have a part of your capital ready for quick deployment and bringing you SWEEEEEEEET interests

>> No.26294716

What you rly do is an easy fiat-ousd on ramp. This can be huge! I heard that OUSD fees will be used to buy OGN from the market, any confirmation on that?

>> No.26295005

>>26294716

I've seen a screenshot of a founder or c-level employee at OriginProtocol telegram group. So I'm pretty bullish on OGN
